how many "how do I run X on Y" 20 page threads have you had Akira? wink

Fair enough xD
But those SAME problems would arise even with emulation.
"How do I run the emulator, what is workbench, I got an ADF , what do I do with it" and more.

don't forget the classical, "is there winUAE for mac?"

Even a simple "Great MOD/XM tunes" thread would be nice, but if someone is willing to write up a nice op about mods by all means do it. I'll definitely contribute my favorite mods to it!

I think you should start this thread right away. smile

i hate adlib tracker, it always freezes on my toshiba laptop. RAD is my weapon of choice.

it freezes here too. I use a 1998 Toshiba Laptop for writing the tunes and the libretto for performing (it doesn't freeze if I don't input notes while playing, so...).

I tried RAD and couldn't get along with it.

Beautiful trailer. But was the trailer's music a MOD?

I tried the gp2x version on the f200, the release with touchscreen support. Didn't like it, there is no way I can use milkytracker without a computer keyboard and mouse.

But I like nitrotracker for the DS though. The interface is simpler and cleaner.

fucking A. looks awesome!
great to see/hear that blip is a huge part of that film.

This thread inst IS GAMEBOY MUSIC BETTER THAN MOD MUSIC.. its more like WHY DO YOU AS A MUSICIAN CHOOSE THIS TOOL INSTEAD OF THE OTHER which i find fascinating.

Me too. Ctrix and 4mat can talk about music writing all day long and I won't never have enough. "it is all music" is a sentence that pretty much ruins a music forum.

Maybe, but those kind of posts make me look like a douchebag. wink  So instead here are some links, lots of clever stuff to see happening if you check them out in a tool.  Certainly not "just a playback format".  (oh I'm doing it again)

Dune - the nonstop Ibiza experience
Dizzy - Alternative Samba
Carlos+Norfair - A kind of beauty
Bruno - Uralvolga fine
Substance - Phenomenon 2
Heatbeat - Jamming for nothin'
Dizzy - Johdattelupolska
Audiomonster - Melonmania
Groo - Oolah part 1
Dune - Kusi
A-Move - Rise

A-Move is just marvelous. 78kb and BLACK MAGIC.
