Matthew Dear is pretty good.
If we're going to get into modern minimal stuff we could go into glitch, microhouse, and a ton of other genres.
Some of my favorite detroit techno songs I know of.
I don't have a significant other. Heh, I really started to work on music more once I broke up with my last girlfriend (2 or 3 years ago? I don't know.). I've had plenty of moments trying to explain it to friends though. Only the closest of my friends really cares about it though. The others are just like "are you listening to that chiptune crap again? damn is that weird...".
I actually explained how I make music on a computer to some girl in my art class today. Basically, I drew up renoise's keyboard layout and said I vertically sequence the notes. I was surprised to hear she didn't even know that people made music on computers yet all she really listens to is rap with autotune in it. ![]()
Nice video!
I'm definitely curious, but I have no coding skills at all.
I'll see if anyone I know does though.
Yellow Magic Orchestra!

Get DOSBox, get OpenSPC, convert the .spc to .it, grab the samples out (or just zap the song), begin tracking, save to .it, get IT2SPC, convert your .it to .spc, done.
thank god you got rid of that whole pop-up thing for the music page. looks a lot better now.

All arguments between members should be settled through hand-to-hand combat. He who wins, is right.

Almost true, but I have been to some extremely civil philosophy forums that are still currently active.
We're pretty far from philosophers.
Just sayin'.
We should just go with "Demoscene Clunkers".
I prefer the balloon with the 'chip' drawn in.
Same here! I'd wear one proudly!
