We were doing this in IRC.  To avoid spoilers I've used a long code tag.  Scroll to the far right.

..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Nullsleep logo, DaPants, TCTD, J.Y.K., Kris K., 1999, supposedly a Jellica reference via cat (though I think it's a pretty sorry looking cat), and "4chan"

Spoiler edited (thanks Lazerbeat!).  Now a complete set.

... *sniffle*  You two are more than musicians to me, you're my 8brothers ...

I opened that in GIMP just to make sure you didn't hide anything in another frame in that .gif

On a related note I was sadly disappointed.

I needed some variety, so I made a rough port to the SNES. No config screen, but otherwise seems faithful. Should work in an emulator like bsnes.

I for one am a firm believer in the SNES and it hurts me to see so few things developed for it.  You sir, are legendary.

I bought this gameboy at a yardsale, I think it needs backlighting though.

I loved every bit of that.  Totally unexpected in the most wonderful of ways.

just ordered mine ! smile think I would see it this week ?

It's a pretty small operation, don't be surprised if you wait until next week to receive it.  They will send you an e-mail once it gets shipped though, so you are notified on info like that.

I'm a little too broke to hit the $25+shipping price, but damn that is a beautiful design, 8GB.

Oh excellent!  I've heard your music on 8bc, can't wait to give this a listen.

"Wait!  There's lots of people like you internationally?"
"Yeah, over nine thousand"
"OVER 9000?!"

That bit killed me, hahaha.  As well as watching the operators in the back room jumping up and down, so great!  Your performance was excellent and you really put forth a great personality, even the hosts seemed to have had a great time!  Also I was glad to see Oxygenstar and invaderbacca getting a bit of screen time even though they weren't given an introduction or anything, they did lovely work.

Br1ght Pr1mate is now the community? wink Lets not derail, this is a great opportunity for them, cheers guys!

I was just poking fun at our own antsiness, didn't mean to lead to a derail.  Pardon me gents.  In any case, I've got this thing set on my DVR, it'll be excellent!

Coolest thing of my week right here!  Best of luck to you all, I'll totally be waking up early to watch this!  Watch yourself though, you know how the chipmusic community gets all up at arms when you say even the slightest thing they don't like.  wink

I seem to recall that low-gain mentioned to solder a capacitor to the jack line, in order to catch spikes. Can't give any more detailed instructions on that unfortunately, I'm a software guy. hmm

I always do this just to make sure spikes don't nab me.  Also a potentiometer across one of the audio lines you're using from the speaker can work as a decent volume control as long as you're careful about quality (then again, circuitbending is noisy by definition anyway...).  Eventually I found that I had too much bent junk to use all at once and had to make my own little mixing device thing.  Keep exploring!

I want to be there so badly...

This will definitely be one to remember.

I am considering one of these I know 10k has one... much hardier than most and a 5year warranty also kinda light which is something to think about

Currently I have some Ashton thing that is basically a Xenyx clone it works but is shit

If I could toss an opinion in, I've got the Yamaha MG102C (basically an MG82 with another channel as opposed to that effects thing) and love the machine to death.  It's a real sturdy system that does its job well, I've taken it all around without any issues.

Would it also be a good idea to get a line out from the main mixer and then mix the two sources together?

that's what I would do.

This is a definite do.  I work for a live productions crew and our lead audio engineer always sets up a couple of ambient mics around the room to grab audience noise.  The mic is always on but it's kept silent in the mixer and is only added in sparingly when the situation on stage is fitting.  It's pretty great to hear around the beginning or end of a track, maybe if banter is particularly hitting with the crowd.  Be creative!  Best case scenario though would be having it as a separate track that you can mess about with later - accidentally adding it when you don't want it sucks.
