Yeah, but 8-bit isn't necessarily chiptune.

Still a timeless classic imo, been listening to it on repeat since it was released!
When I went to a demoparty the other week, some dude stopepd me in the halway and asked "Are you Chainsaw Police? Nice to meet ya!" and walked off.
haha, we'd been waiting for you for HOURS that's why!
Ahh, makes sense.
Blame the Sydney traffic though! I left early, too
Is it possible to take this to the Department of Fair Trading, or a similar body for your country? If there was some formal agreement made and recorded, he can be caught and fined and forced to pay and whatever, probably.
Anyone ever attempted a merging of Atari Synthcart with Gameboy? I know littlescale's done some MIDI controlling of the 2600.
Was chatting to cTrix the other day, turns out the 2600's TIA chip is a terribly atonal and hard-to-harness thing apparently. It's still totally possible to use for music, but incredibly tricky. I could only assume that being out of tune would cause problems with existing synced hardware with proper pitching.
It's be pretty cool for a noise set though!
2.5.4 isn't the latest, according to the cart I have, which shipped with 2.5.5... Is that even a thing yet?
(I fixed the problem by literally smashing button on startup and now the problem does't hang around anymore, though, so that's one question outta the way!)

Never even met the dude, didn't recognise him at all. Felt pretty cool
Crunchy GB wav channel, smooth bassy GBA synthesis - this is what I'm planning for in the future for my next release thing.
Maybe the odd bit of Megadrive/Genesis FM as well, once I get the cash to get a midi kit from mr. scale
This new NL 2.5 cart I got today has already bugged up on me... Whenever I start it up and press Start, a pause logo appears in the top right-hand corner, and a number 2 in the lower left. It just hangs forever.
The first time I switched it on it worked fine, then shut it off, restarted, and it's now dead.
I've got nothing on there I need to keep, and I heard formatting the memory is an option. How do I go about doing this?
obligatory "prosound mod it" joke
So, I've got some money and two MDs lying in my drawers, gathering dust. The thought of having essentially twenty channels of FM makes me cry tears of joy.
MY FM SYNTHESIS BONER KNOWS NO BOUNDS
when you're making your Wave instruments try changing the volume in the synth screen to 80, it boosts the whole thing up.
Works sometimes, but not for me. I've had nothing but bad experiences when messing with the synth volume on a perfect wav sound
Also, Nintendocore was never alive
Colors are eye-burning, the wording isn't very professional, and it's not much of a "blog", per se, in the way you post things.
Agreed, I'm sure there's something somewhere forbidding the use of all these projects for profit like this.
EDIT: Just watched the video. I love how they explain everything in detail.
my pocket never drained the backup battery! it only drained the actual gameboy's batteries - half an hour of working time in two AAA batteries.
