Re: USB cart sav help (14 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
There are two types of memory on the card. Please read my posts, they are important. your song are saved by the battery ram, your program is the Rom on your cart. You read the rom correctly and opened it in visual boy. that's why there were no songs, you only transfered the program and no save data. read up more before you accidentally ruin your data...

Try reading the sram off of the cart and opening that in virtual boy after you load up the rom. The rom image is lsdj, the songs are the save data.

There are two kinds of read, ram and rom. custom lsdjs use custom roms. it should have nothing to do with save. more specific info would be helpful. does your cart still have save?

Just use the power from the power led. wire in parallel and you will be fine. it has enough current for quite a few LEDs as they draw so little current. Also two modern LEDs take about the same current as an old one (pretty sure)

I would trade you an EMS 64 m USB cart for the Transferer and that cart. I want the Transferer for something I've been working on. and I don't have a bung cart.

I have been told the zenith diode (not resistor) will not allow it to burn out any led. so you don't need to add any resistance even for SMT LEDs

Patches available now, email me if you would like them. In the newest patch it will update 4.0.5 with little FM aswell as black and white option. The option is where you can change gray to inverse under the lsdj settings menu. Instead of inverse reversing the screen it changes the grayscale to black and white. also I have both normal and inverted patches (also works for the little fm menu) email me if interested [email protected]

I'd say just buy one. It's made of many parts that will probably end up costing you the same amount
