Cool!  I'm okay with SMT (but I can see this being a huge problem for many).  Are you sure you'd want to do a SMT kit though?  Most of the people I've talked to have absolutely hated packing SMT parts for kits.  wink

I'm totally down.  Will there be a DIY kit or is it assembled only?

I haven't done too much simulataneously, but since my setup is DJ oriented I think about flavor combos a lot.  Right now working on NES/Atari ST mixes, and Nomad/GB mixes.

I got mine recently and its beeen working fine.  The "Hello" screen gets jumbled all the time, but I figure it's just a recurring quirk.  Are you sure you are pressing start with the little NL logo?  Pressing anything else takes you to the empty banks, and if there isn't anything in them that might be what happens.

Is there a definite answer on the hum issues yet?  The randomness of it is driving me nuts.  Certain mobo revisions and different carts?  Prosound still humming? Ahhhhhh...

I think you guys are maybe confused, the tracks in the NSF demos are from FAMICOMPO 8. This looks like a HYPE SPLASH SCREEN for FAMICOMPO 9. wink

Bridechamber has a nifty board for CV control of pitch.  Other than that, you're probably going to have to get pretty nifty with some DIY magic.

Catani's got that magic touch...

Personally I think it's a fantastic chip.  Maybe it would be better to just seperate it from Defle as it's own little tracker?

Sick!  I do post pot prosound, so I might try to use the volume pot for this.  Convenience!

If I could find a perfect mixer, it would be 2 channel, with a 3 band EQ for vox insert (forget two band!!!), built in filter, FX send, and EQ kill switches.  Xone:22 and Ecler Nuo 2.0 come so close.  ;_;

I'm gonna be there!  Lets go midwest!   Nice pic...
