Today I modded a DMG with CPU-04, and getting a very loud buzz when playback samples on wave channel, even if that channel is muted or every channel is muted. I didn't tested before started and I'm sure I mixed an screen board from one DMG and the CPU board from other, could that be related? I tried same cartridge with same batteries on another DMG, CPU-05 and CPU-06, and don't getting that noise. Any help?

Update: Tried another CPU-04 and is not making that noise

No chairs go in the corners. There's going to be cabinets underneath for wiring, and small shelves up top for consoles to sit in.

ok!best luck!

so you were playing gameboy while riding a bike, and that way you got the broken gameboy mod (very nice)... but at the cost of broken arms also

I did this mod for the DMG one, and is usable

Is a pain... but possible.
You have to:
1) on the right panel, go to "Change PC settings"
2) go to General, and in the Right botton under Advanced startup -> Restart Now
3) choose on Options -> Troubleshoot
4) Advanced Options
5) Startup Options
6) Restart
...  yes computer will restart
7) press 7 for "Disable driver signature enforcement"

Hola Ezequiel
Which backlight are you using? I see that you solder it to a point a never used it.
My Backlights are solder to the capacitor that is just above the ribon cable.

I got a Black DMG with a Performance Super Zoom (Magnifier with light). I used to have one of this when I was a kid and I remember that the batteries for it doesn't long much.
So I removed the original lamps and replace them with white LEDs for surface mount, also needed to remove the resistor to get enough tension on the LEDs.
So far I can say that now I have better light, and is standing longer. Is nothing compared with back light, but is an option to keep an original DMG.
Here some pictures:

Please tell me that it will run like MK2 and not like MK3. MK2 is smother on GB

Hi! nice GB

I'm having some troubles with this multisav option.
For example Donkey Kong and Final Fantasy Legend works for a while, then I loose all my progress. But with Metroid so far I didn't loose my progress. Could be that I'm doing something wrong?

I use my MMC to backup my photos from GBCamera, then I write that sav to the EMS 64MB, and then backup the SAV from EMS using the USB cable. So for me also works!

Thanks all for your answers!
The thing is that with Windows 7 starting with "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" it worked great, now with Windows 8 I have a new Blue Screen of Death when it tries to read the cartridge.
Windows XP is an option, luckily the Libretto is 233MHz and has 64MB of Ram, but as they are the minimum requirements to run XP wanted to try first with 98 that runs great on it.
Saskrotch I used to have an old E-Merger reader and cart that run on 98, but I sold it and bought another USB cart =/
Will keep you posted if I find something.

I'm having troubles to make run the driver on Windows 8, so decided to restore and old Toshiba Libretto with Win98SE on it for use to backup my SAV files. But I can't make this driver run on Win98SE and reading the .inf file seems to be ok for this old windows.
Anyone have a clue?
Thanks
