WELL FINE I GUESS I WILL, I'M TOO BUSY FOR THIS SHIT ANYWAY

Really I think it's a little silly to even relate yourselves to the 8bit thing, you've got your own style which seems pretty cool, it doesn't matter how you make your music, your name on its own is enough of a tribute to zelda, including that music is just driving yourself into a niche.

I WAS WAITING FOR MORE SUBMISSIONS BUT THEY NEVER CAME sad

I CAN GIVE YOU ALL THE THINGS PEOPLE SENT ME UP UNTIL NOW OR I CAN PUT OUT ANOTHER PLEA FOR YOUR TRACKSSSS

@pixis put it in as the band is inspired by zelda, its a incredibly nostalgic track that people can easily identify with, the band wouldn't exist without that game so i thought it might be cool, hopefully others won't be so effected by it and give the music a chance

I understand that it's your inspiration, but what I'm trying to say is that it would be much better to have something of yours playing throughout the whole video as it is a promo video for a music artist. Having music that isn't yours, no matter how recognizable, cheapens the experience, and makes it seem like your simply trying to piggyback on the success of another piece of music rather than paying homage to it.

If I hadn't been watching the video from a critiquing point of view, I personally would've shut it off after I recognized the music, and there are lots of people who would as well for a variety of reasons/assumptions from "augh, videogame cover band" to "ugh, nerd gimmicks." The sheer amount of time you spend just with dreamy shots with zelda music playing compared with the time that your music is playing is kind of absurd.

I'm glad the code is open sourced, just nice to see, and if for whatever reason you do have to stop development someone else could potentially pick it up. Though I do hope you continue! Glad to see someone doing this!

I prefer photoshop for editing pixel stuff, or more drawing style pixel art, but I prefer Fireworks for creating smaller pixel stuff, and making gifs

Cannot wait to have this vinyl in my hands.

I gladly bought the digital download just so I could have it before the vinyl gets here.

This shit is seriously. fucking. amazing.

I think the zelda music in the beginning completely devalues whatever other music you have in there. The only music that should be in the promo video for a music artist is their own music. You spend way too much time just looking nice with zelda music, it's kind of silly.

Looking forward to the rest of these!

sorry about the delay, uploading 3 GB+ files takes a looooong time, longer than my computer usually stays in one place...

Who is dumb enough to do that?

well there's drums, and chiptunes, it must be the same thing, forget the stylistic differences, those are just superfluous

Not a bad idea, but do you want hardware with no software? hmm

Well, I'm thinking of it like, if I have the cartridge then I can start using the thing the day that you hear from Blargg. If you wait to hear from him (for who knows how long... days? weeks?) before you ship the carts, then I have to wait for you to ship them, then the time it takes to ship, etc. Maybe I'm only talking about a difference of a week but a week is still a long time.

I'm really not trying to be a dick or anything about this, so I hope it's not coming across like that. I really do appreciate all the work you've put into this thing and I can't wait to finally get it and use it.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, because if Blargg reappears tomorrow, then it'll just be the delay of shipping, hah. I wouldn't mind having a useless but kind of awesome cartridge lying around until the software's ready
