Yeah, so far everyone's adivce about structure or whatever has been pretty alright, but again
use as many fuckin effects as you want til it's at a point where you think it sounds good, and make sure you're making it to sound good, not to what you think other people think it should sound like.
you guys are dumb or something, it sounds like any fuckin gameboy i've ever heard just with a few effects thrown on. besides who fuckin cares if it doesn't "sound 8-bit"
however, constructive criticism
you music or whatever doesn't really have any structure, and it seems like you're having some stereo recording issues. The best advice i can think to give would be just to have some idea of what you want to make and then see what you need to do to make it, not necessarily a whole vision for the song you're trying to make, just think about "what is it i'm trying to do" and then figure out how to do that. "music" is a bit broad, but if you're looking to do dance music you need a beat, and just go from there.
You're a good ways off from where you wanna be I think, so just make some things for a while that you don't show anyone, or maybe just a couple of people, until you're at a point where you are happy with it yourself, then you can ask for criticism, because honestly, there aren't really songs yet

The answer is that the southern accent is really just the way that I myself talk, because if you go south far enough you end up right back where you started. Case closed.

Since you are canadian it could be a southern canadian accent, but I held that since you are canadian, then everything is south of you, so a southern accent is just any accent other than your own.

So, here it is; the absolutely raw recordings of one of the last IAYD sets at Studio B in Corpus Christi, TX, the summer of 2k12. Hands down, this set is one of the most emotional sets I've ever played (I'm going to miss Studio B a whole lot), as well as one of the most chaotic and absolutely insane crowds I've ever had the pleasure of playing for; and the amount of times I become unplugged reflects that in the recordings.
Personal highlights from the show include:
8 bottles of champagne popped during the set
endless high hives/hugs/sentimental people
endless cart corruption
three buttons off of my shirt getting ripped off
my table collapsing from bassweight/crowdweight
the rest you'll have to discover for yourself.
I just really hope you enjoy it.

Probably my noise/ambient album Silence. Most of it was done via pure experimentation and I ended up really enjoying the outcome. Probably not my favorite release musically, but almost definitely the most fun i've had making music
