I feel that you should start making music that you want to hear first. If you dont like your own music then what is the point? Practice more.
Also if you want constructive cliticism then you should at least ask people who have a similar taste in music to yourself, there is no point in asking someone who likes whatever genres EDM wants to consume next for criticism on an alice coltraine song that just goes waldldlaooowaaaaworrlalalwaddlwaloopwlaooopwaldldlaooowaaaaworrlalalwaddlwaloopwlaooopwaldldlaooowaaaaworrlalalwaddlwaloopwlaooopwaldldlaooowaaaaworrlalalwaddlwaloopwlaooopwaldldlaooowaaaaworrlalalwaddlwaloopwlaooopwaldldlaooowaaaaworrlalalwaddlwaloopwlaooop for 9 minutes is there?

ive never used protracker and there seem to be different versions
otherwise people have made plenty of amiga music on a standard A500 so im sure there will be something to make music on if you only manage to get one of those
Interesting project
One of the problems that I've had using external power supplies with the Game Boy is that I get a horrible high pitched humming sound from the audio output. Is there any noise with this using unmodding gameboys please?

Well, that's how I see most small scale artists using this, although it could be helpful if you need proper studio time or whatever but then would small scale artists be able to get that kind of funding from strangers?
On the other hand, I wouldn't give fucking Radiohead any money to self release a new album either.

There are just a ton of options and versions of the Amiga. You'll be fine with one of the standard models although I'd recommend the A1200 with a hard drive.
go second hand? a 5 year old refurb will probably still do everything you need as long as you don't have to have completely up to date software.
