If you want to make a hawt C64 coder pr0n demo today, I'm not even sure it's possible to use the original platform anymore. You have to use emulators and special tools. And then play it on a C64. Yeai/wow/etc.

I remember reading interviews in 80s/90s Zzap magazines with devs and I remember one (maybe Turbo Outrun? maybe Creatures?) and c64 stuff was written on ST then ported across, was this as common back then as it is today?

I dont know. i never really got on with using soft synths in a DAW, give me a real synth.

Vegas Video works in kinda the same way as Acid does for audio, drag and drop whatever into a timeline.

oh sorry i just looked and it is quite expencive :(

doesnt all chip music sound the same?

can i turn this in to a stealing pissing contest?

i stole sound ideas from david sugar after meeting him in 2006 in switzerland and sharing ideas on game boy sound creation.

i know a few people that spunk out a lot of money on gear then never make any music. dont become one of those people. it makes me want to cry when i see all these unplayed instruments.

I guess this is one of those cases where it is ok to comment before I have even listened to it.

a pulse channel snare

lol, I've lost more Game Boy data to crappy back up devices than I have using c64 tapes and disks over the years.

all chipmusic is relevent to nintendo

slowed down raps are really creepy. i think i will listen to hip hop records at a slower speed rather than at a faster speed from now on.
