true story: i started writing a bunch of trashy lo-fi industrial music a couple years ago, one of the songs was called 'bitcrusher' and it was about a dominatrix who liked to step on your junk with stiletto heels

sing the part, autotune the fuck out of it and then use a nice thin pulsey synth with quite a lot of whitenoise as the carrier. the more bands on the vocoder the better, fancier plugins use FFT or something wacky like that. also EQ!

shorter duty cycle for the attack gives it a more plucked sorta sound, it's very nice!
maybe fade quickly from VFF to V00 in a table for a more clang-y bell sound?
