Remember me guys? I'm proof of all the negativity of this place. I made a shit peace of shit and didn't realize it last year and put it on this site because I was told it was a great place to get started, learn, and because it was "a good idea" and then i got cursed at,falsely accused(was it trolling?) and discriminated.

oh man that thread was fun. btw not proof of anything because none of that actually happened.

i guess the moral of the story is don't read between imaginary lines.

na no midi kit, i think they've been discontinued (the one i've looked at had been) and i'm a bit rubbish at electronics (it's one thing to fuck up a dime-a-dozen gameboy, but if i killed my jx i'd probably weep a little haha)

put a H command where you want the bar to end
you need to put it in each phrase you want in a different time signature

for 9/8 specifically since you can't have 18 steps in a phrase you could put a H command on row 9 and just have two phrases for each bar of music
or put a H command on row 9 and change the main groove from 6/6 to C/C (this doubles the length of each step)

hold f8 at start-up, this will put the computer into test mode.  and it will say this in the corner as long as its in test mode.

i can never ever get this to work for some reason haha
i've just left my os in test mode non stop anyway

you did install the EMS drivers, didn't you? the test mode text means you should be ready to roll provided you installed the drivers and the gb_usb software

that text goes away after restarting when you run dseo13b.exe and select the "disable test mode" option (but that stops the EMS cart from being recognised)

thread approval sucks
maybe just 5 posts to make sure you're not an adbot/sockpuppet
but the kind of people who make 50 non-constructive posts just for the ability to make a thread would make 50 non-constructive posts regardless, y'know what i'm saying?

Infact you can buy the way 'uncooler' and less sought after JX3P which is basically a 2osc Juno for like 300 quid.

OT, but 300 british pounds should get you a mint JX3P with it's original box and documentation. it's cheaper than the PG200 programmer for it haha
okay maybe not cheaper but surely easier to find on the market?
mine has a couple of dead keys and the stock programmer fader doesn't work, i'd be lucky to get 150AUD for it :v

long train trips are definitely where i get the ball rolling with most tracks, usually wrap things up at home though
mixing/producing/recording is totally different though

i think he means this is more suitable to post on your tumblr/facebook/whatever page as opposed to it's own thread on a chipmusic forum

They also made a Visual Map for it.

can't believe there are only 5 in australia.
Or maybe it's just little-scale's awesomeness that makes them seem like 1000.

there were at least 6 of us just at a small pixel-art exhibition in newcastle last night and only one of them are on that list so i think maybe this thing is not fully "extensive" tongue
