wait, what

Okay, so imagine you're tracking the kick and bass on your wave channel right? And then you transpose the phrase so that the bass note changes - but now the kick sound changes too and it doesn't sound the way you wanted it to... right? That's what I'd like this for.

I'll use it!

Something I wish LSDJ had: Instruments that you can transpose but don't change pitch. Designated "drum" sounds, basically.
If you're doing it manuscript/piano roll style then an option ghost notes would be cool, too (i.e. you can see the notes of other channels underneath the ones from the channel you're editing).

i have a couple of vintage roland synths that i honestly feel like i have no business owning but they kinda just came into my possession (i.e. i didn't buy them). i like recording hardware synths but don't do it often enough. acoustic hardware is another story, though.

i'd rather have the cart that love built, though tongue

that's pretty soon!

The icon looks boss. I'll check this out later!

btw that example is a really awful & impractical groove/tempo BUT tl;dr sequencer & sheet music terms are not always synonymous! smile

depending on the groove and tempo you use though you can kinda mess with it a bit... D/3/5/3 at 60bpm is like a slightly swung country waltz feel where four 16th steps in the sequencer are in the space of three 8th notes on paper

they can be whatever kind of note you want depending on how you write the whole piece or how you group the phrases
i guess they ARE 16th notes technically, since there are 16 in total inside a phrase, which is sort of the equivalent of a bar but not really.

well yeah, but it's the kind of mistake you make for 2 seconds and then think "OH WAIT why would they replace the FIRST LETTER with a different one that's kinda silly i sure am a goose"

i don't think any less of you, though :>

And Bach is awesome. He made a composition based on the letters of his name, (H is A, if I'm not mistaken). That's awesome.

lol

yeah i wanna know how you came to this conclusion, given that there's already an A in BACH tongue

listen to/study kwwrr, especially the album "Big Times" (although it's all consistently dissonant & yet really thoughtfully written and sensible)

minor shift on the subdominant chord yeeeeeeeeeeeeehaw
