Hi there!
Im just finishing my last EP and i thought that would be cool to include two or three remixes from the songs in it.
The EP have 4 really different tunes, i wanted to made 4 songs with 4 diferent styles, so we have from drum n bass to XXXXXstep and classic 4-on-the-floors with fasts and slower melodies, im sure that you will like some of them, and if you want to remix, add loops, cut them, add melodies or what-ever-you-want with one of them it will be reaaaaally cool, so just say it here and i will send you a little preview from the EP to know if you are interested.
Ill provide a LSDJ sav with the songs (plus others songs!) to make it easier for you smile
Greetings from spain!

you can use another gameboy+gb camera for random noise/loops between loading songs in lsdj, or just someting that makes noises. Noises are cool.

Does Gameboy Advance count as Gameboy?

It'd pretty awesome to see a Gameboy Advance tracker that can take advantage of the Advances sound system as well as the DMG sound system that's built in to create some more texturing. I was recently listening to the Megaman Battle Network soundtracks with an analytical ear and noticing for the first time the layering of the 2 Pulse Channels and Wave Channel and Noise channel over the samples of flutes, orchestra hits, drums, and other things to create really sweet tunes and textures. It was kind of like a Gameboy with perhaps two extra PCM channels.

Or does something like this already exist?

This. I really like GBA sounds.

How's it going cm.o?
I just wanted to leave the last compo from the spanish community here: http://culturachip.org/compos/?r=9
Hope that everybody like it! And happy birthday, Culturachip! big_smile

Sup!
After one year (moreless) using trackers (mostly lsdj/milkytracker stuff), i want to experiment with chipbreak, but i have a few missing things to start, maybe you can help me? tongue
1. The breaks, i have a few of them (one folder from one user from here with a lot of classics!) but i dont know how to use them properly, i mean, whats the common way to make a few breaks? i supossed that i need to chop them, make a few patterns and then play with them to retrigger/pitch the samples? I think that its the hardest thing of all my questions, because all the breaks that i listen are a bit complex, but i think that its just a few patterns with just minor changes.

2. Software, i know the basics of milkytracker, FL studio and renoise, i prefer renoise (such a powerfull tool heart) whats your opinion? what software (and if you use it) vstis you prefer?

3. The tempo, im not used to high tempos, i usually keep all my tracks in 110-150, so (if im not wrong) chipbreak could be from 180-200 bpm or higher, you write the breaks at 200 and the melodies in a lower tempo to keep control and save patterns?

I know that maybe its a bit obvius for people who knows these basics, but for me its a bit hard (and its not a lot of information of this in spanish) so if you can help me with these questions (and any good tips and advices) i will be so glad!

Thanks! And sorry for my shitty english :*
