DroidSound-E (Android player of many formats) and Audio Overload (http://www.bannister.org/software/ao.htm) was unable to play it, but according to this extension file is http://segaretro.org/Saturn_Sound_Format. If i open file in hexa editor i see something like this at the beginning

SEGAh`fūp"$&(*,`@Ver1.33 95/08/07SATURN(S) sampleNao V0.05  06/15Kas V0.00c, but what is sampleNao or Kas perhaps knows some Capcom interns smile

and game is Megaman 8? Because at the end is this (Rockman 8)

title=WoodMan
artist=SYUSAKU UCHIYAMA
game=ROCKMAN 8 ÉĀÉ^ÉčÉqĀ[ÉćĀ[ÉY
year=1997
genre=ACT
copyright=CAPCOM

And afaik, composers in Japan have some assistents (titled as operators) and music programmers, so composer perhaps "only" composes pieces on his music workstation and assistents adapt score for console thru their tools.

SIDWizard doesn't support overwriting song files of the same name at least as far as I know, you have to use a new filename every time you save and then just delete the old versions later in a disk editor. I just do stuff like MYSONG0001, MYSONG0002, etc

Sorry i work in Sid Duzz' It but i always save new version with next number, why not? Sometimes early versions of the song contains better stuff so i bring it back.

Why? Rather separated devices, recently i purchased those Teenage Engineering pocket operators which can by synced and cascaded and it is very nice addition to other chiptune devices like zx128k+, c64, 3x nintendo dmg01s. and todays computers with chiptune trackers are also respected in our circles

Really Bazza? I have from Amiga times one huge mods.zip archive in my phone (i use DroidSound-E, great player also of exotic mods, i also helped developer to fix some "silence" players) and i always thought that mod.ingamehq was your music from Hero's Quest, 32184 bytes, sample names mostly prefixed ST-49:4mat.

very nice, i think 4mat is legend on Amiga chipmusic scene, his Hero's Quest ingame chipmusic was my favourite, but i was always wondering how was made music for games like Uridium 2 by Jason Page in his own player, because it sounds like from real oscillators and not like short one-cycle sampled waveforms.

I am back to original DMG-01, have tried some emulators for a week, but original Nintendo is unbeatable smile

The real question is should this be in the "handhelds" section?  Nintendo, stop defying categorization!

They're calling this a "portable console". Maybe the fact that there are controllers that connect to the thing (albeit wirelessly) make them say this is a console.

http://www.brloh.sk/hra_3ds_nintendo_switch in my country Slovakia it is priced at 300 eur, not bad, i've composed some 3DS gamemusic for my old fellows from Amiga scene (Cypronia team) and they are already developing new title smile

So portable console can be also mobile, i have purchased hw controller Madcatz C.T.R.L for my Lenovo A7000 and it is really great, maybe the best, have played Asphalt, all emulators detect it and can be configured, highly recommended!

Remembering pattern numbers on each track, rearranging, remembering pattern numbers on each track, searching for unused patterns, and from beginning.

Nowadays anyone who use pure square or triangle waveform is a chiptune artist

I purchased nanoloop iOS version long time ago, but never used it because of lack of commands and realtime automation recording while modifying sliders, lsdj in that area is much deeper.

Btw this controller is marvelous, right now i mapped lsdj in myoldboy and also some games in john snes (in lsdj i replaced select button to x because of better layout and it is really quick control of everything)

hello C64 crew, what about this 7" TFT monitor for C64?
https://www.gme.sk/lcd-7-monitor-do-auta-cl-7016-c

i checked it in that shop and it seems to have S-Video input, one italian man from lemon64 forum created for me S-Video cable (audio is a separate grounded cinch) and it is same cable, but also male, fortunately with that monitor is also female cable so i can replace it.
