The age old question, asked again. At least indicate that you've done some research before asking. Locked.

Try clearing RAM. Go to the load/save menu item in the project screen and press select+A, then "yes". Of course, this clears any songs in RAM, but at least the open song would have been destroyed by playing Pokemon anyway.

I'm guessing the joke is also that there's a console called Virtual Boy.

I don't think it does. I believe EMS Transferer units are only compatible with Bung's 64M cartridge.
Having said that, you may want to check that your LPT port is properly configured and that you're getting contact with the actual unit.
Another thing, do you have any other type of cartridge which you can easily flash at the moment? (This would be for a cartridge swapping experiment.)

Well, guess what. Johan foresaw this situation and removed the back button in one of the 4.x versions. And yes, as you might have guessed, it's more difficult to add a new button item than it is to replace an old one.

Now I'm not following you. To get into LFM you would first go into LSDj's own file manager, then press B?

Glad you asked. You can press sel+start+B+A, known from such games as Tetris and Zelda Link's Awakening. I might also include the ability to replace the load/save song menu item in the project screen.

If I understand what you mean by instrument swapping correctly, that won't be available. (Load just an instrument from a sav.) At least not in the near future. It's possible, but would be complex to code. And furthermore, clipboard won't be preserved when loading a new song. That's because LFM doesn't run "inside" LSDj, but as a separate app, so to speak. (LSDj will need to be restarted on exit and will clear all work memory on startup, including clipboard. Entering and exiting LFM is like turning the GB's power on and off.)

There are two things delaying the next release:
1) I want to add a replacement for LSDj's save function, which is annoyingly slow. If you've used LitteFM's load function, you know what I am. This is the on feature in the program that's missing for the next release atm.
2) I want to finish a patcher, which can patch any version of LSDj. That should get the "hard to use" aspect out the window. Distributing an IPS patch that only works with a single LSDj version is not exactly ideal. Then there's the next problem, so far I'm using Java to write this tool, so that's an extra problem for anyone who wants to use it. Of course, it's an easy to solve problem, but I should actually probably use something else to program the patcher.

Need I remind you I haven't actually produced anything yet? Don't mang me until I've produced a first sound from this thing.
