Yes, that is why I added an icsp connector. I can explain more thoroughly once I get home from work.
For those who have me do the soldering, I can program it before shipment.

Also, when do you folks think I should end the claim period? When can everyone have money available? We only have 8 claimed, so I was thinking at least by next Friday (the 15th). That gives people time to save up and others to claim a board. Any objections?

Works for me.  If you could program the mega on both of them, that would save me a step!

Under the conditions that I solder the FTDI and Atmel8515 before shipment? I made everything else capable of through-hole. I think that makes 7 boards now.

EDIT: An Atmel8515 and FTDI will run about 8USD extra and then there is time, so we can call it an even 15 extra. wink

So, 33.90 for a board with FTDI and 8515 soldered and shipped.

Yes, Please put me down for 2.
Thank you for the effort:)

Now if only someone were willing to do e SMD work on the chips beforehand, I'd be all over this...

I would take two of these types for sure.  One for back up, my Jack Russel like to play too.

Guess most people here don't care any more, and as long as it's written on a Gameboy and sounds like everyone else, that's all cool. What a sorry state the chiptune scene has become. Of course, there will now be a few replies about how great the scene is and how I should be patient and let the music speak for itself, not be judgemental etc, but I've been lurking here too long that I can't miss the sorry teenagers who think they are all that plus more.

IMHO Neil's stuff works the best on actual hardware.  I have never had any problem with actual hardware.
No crashes, no freezes, no frustration.

How about a Nintendo Gameboy Powercart?

Sometimes you can find them on ebay.  Flashed with LSDJ would be the other trick.  I have an extra, but I would not let it go cheap.
