Personally, I'd like to see a 1-bit tracker for Gameboy. Not enough 1-bit love in this world.

Posted this almost 3 weeks ago on page 1. Not trying to come off as a douche or anything, but people have experienced interest in the suggestion already. I think the discussion in the other thread should be more about bleepy music and how to achieve it with current software instead of discussing the contents of this one. Still, I would like to try 1-bit bleepy stuff on the DMG. Maybe we'll see it eventually...

I have this nagging feeling that you should make sure your wires on the board go to the correct pins on the jack. I have used to mess this up all the time.

Check out our releases section, as well as our music section. There is tons of stuff to parse through. We also have this thread http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/237/c … s-to-have/

Good luck! smile

20 $ on ebay
I love it

I got one just now for like $35 with shipping, almost-new and confirmed working. Thanks for letting us know that these exist!

This whole album blew my mind. The funky rhythms, the purposefully almost-out-of-phase seventh chord stabs, the big band incorporation, and the overwhelming palette of tones totally enriched my listening experience. Quite the way to end the trilogy.

Bravo.

You might want to keep a few spare mgb's on hand, it's not too hard to get a few with bad cases for cheap online. They are handy to have in case you mess the screen up or if your main board flakes out. Consider it investing in your future wink good luck.

I haven't used the DMG with this board for months, and had forgotten it had issues. You da man! heart

Ditto this on the board that came in my preassembled DMG. Hopefully it will be a quick fix. I'm willing to donate my board for research and experimentation.

Do you even lift, bro?

LittleFM seems to be non-EMS64MB cartridge only, sadly. However, if you are into just playing games on the EMS cart there is software you can use to enable this to some fair degree. Check out this thread I made about the Mottzilla Smartcard menu for EMS carts http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/9501/ … hat-is-it/

It's built by NeX, an d it should work with everything. Pay attention to the cable connector to see if you should really use a DMG or a CGB or pocket smile

Seeing as it was designed for use with Super Mario Bros. DX, I would say "absolutely."

Streaming is good for exposure, demoing new tracks, and getting live feedback. It is literally a sort of radio show, and people are performers. Given, Roger (b3tabot) basically tried to run the whole production himself, and it turned into a mixed bag of results.

Streaming is cool, but it is not a concert. The typical viewer is sitting in their chair doing something else on their computer while they listen, unless there is a real performance involved. Then, if you add clinics and stuff, that would be so interqctive I would say it goes a step above performance into th e realm of presentation.

I feel that simply playing your music (even in LIVE mode) over a dtream does not justify a broadcast. I feel that people who are playing along live and giving the audience a more unique experience merits a stream. A presentation would be great to see moved to a video chat forum, where the presenter(s) can unmute people as need be for Q&A but wveryone can be in a chat room.

I think people who stream just audio should stream on web radio stuff, performers should video stream, and clinics would be a great compliment to either.
