I believe that I used to be able to run an RCA cable from the RCA jack on the commodore to the composite video in on the television. Maybe I'm mistaken. It was a long time ago. I've ordered one of those DIN a/v cables so I'll be able to test that out.

The reason that I think I may have broke something, is that I soldered the coaxial part of the "RF adapter" back together. After I tried using it, I couldn't get any video, when I had found a way before. Oops. I was sad. That's why I was asking if it was possible that the RF portion of the commodore could maybe be malfunctioning, but the composite could work. I would hate to leave this beautiful commodore unused.

The composite will work, and the RCA cable from the RCA jack to the composite video would also work.

GOAT80: I think his point is whether the composite signal coming out of the DIN jack could work even though the RCA (RF) doesn't.

It should do, I have a few units where I have removed the RF enclosure and put it somewhere else on the board. The RCA doesn't work anymore, but the gubbinz still have to be there (cant be bothered to figure out what I'd have to replace) Alpha does the same thing in his mod.

get a novation drumstation, it is an analog rack which includes a tr-909 and tr-808, and it fairly easy to use, just midi control it with a daw.
other than that, affordable drum machines are the tr-505, tr-707, boss dr-55, 670, and 880,.

don't get sampler, you can't tune and shape the sounds properly, so your drums will sound boring and shite.

I only ask it as I want a mix of artists, not just breakbit gameboy kids.

Firebrand Boy and Slash's Wormhole are possibly on board already.

Date and venue unknown yet, but It will take place in Brighton.

Looking for dancy/circuit bent music, less gameboy artists the better.

A DJ would be nice too.

Send a demo to [email protected]

I'm lost for recording at the moment, and I'm looking for some collaborative work that doesn't include a lame compilation... pm me if anyone feels interested.

Make sure that the warp mode is set to complex pro.
Set ableton to the tempo you want to timestretch to.
Right click the first beat and select warp from here (start at tempo).
Jobs done.

Edit: If all else fails manually set the warp markers on your audio, but complex pro ensures that the tone of the sound stays at the same pitch if you stretch it and retains a crisp sound.
