Re: Amenizer, should it be possible to sync it with Nanloop 1.? (pre-1.3 I think, possibly 1.1) I've tried to no avail... I seem to have nanoloop in slave mode, it plays one step if i unplug the cable, but nothing happens/changes when i play the amen slicing rom. Not sure whether it just shouldn't work anyway or if I'm overlooking some esoteric thing about how syncing works on my old nanoloop cart...? ^_^;

A lot of people act like the whole internet is just a system for delivering a constant stream of random things to be judged by their all-important OPINION.

BitWiz on the iphone is pretty great for playing with bytebeat stuff. It includes x/y controller etc you can add to the code for realtime control which is fun musically useful
I've spent ages messing with it but not actually made anything yet. here's one little demo/test I did put online - https://soundcloud.com/cementimental/by experiment

An emulation of Trippy-H which works exactly the same way except that it doesn't lose tempo/slow down when you press select to change screens (and maybe with such improvements to one of the channels as it would take for it to be able to make a gabber kick sound too...) would be my perfect GB music software

I just wish it could automate two values instead of just one but i guess that would go down a path of non-minimalism against the nanoloop aesthetic...

Can be anything, wave or sample, and you can rename them. With Emoji even if you have that installed

Re: Ever played a non-chiptune open mic? (7 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I was nearly regular at some friends of friends/messageboard friends' open mic night at one point. You are talking about getting WTF reactions but for me playing chip stuff at these was actually a compromise and concession to accessibility haha, tho i usually gave them at least a bit of NOISE. they seemed to like it overall.
Here's a recording of one on this very site in fact!!! - http://chipmusic.org/cementimental/musi

Nanolloop shambles (I think i accidentally chose some default demo loops at one point <-_-;) and noiserave.
Haha the audience reaction at the start! PRO TIP: always let non-chip audiences hear the gameboy switching on ^_^
