A friend who is a really experienced programmer and electro-engineer told me that x64 windows flat out won't work.
It has to be a x86. I tend to believe him.

kineticturtle wrote:Since we're listing examples here, for my flute and gameboy piece Flight of the Bleeper Bird, I had the flutist record every note on the instrument, and I made a kit for each octave. They appear pretty prominently about 2:27 into the second movement:
any chance you can share these kits, or are they bound by contract as is with the piece?
Those sound superclean

Yo,
Message on soundcloud sent.
We're currently kind of fleshing out a scene, and Antwerp seems to be becoming the anchorpoint.
I'm playing at Rampscenario in Hechtel september.
Some friends are organizing Bitgrid in october with comptroller, xyce, roccow, and x critical strike x.

Anyways, welcome, hope to see you someday.
About playing gigs, it is about getting to know the people who organize parties.
Maybe look at alternative parties in your neighbourhood.
Of the top of my head: Dubtastic, Peer Pressure,
Where are tou from? Neerpelt or the Ardennen?

Re: Is abrasive music (particularly gameboy noise chn) ear damaging? (26 replies, posted in General Discussion)
hearing damage shouldn't be causing a pain in your ears. if you are more sensitive to loud noises that would suggest your hearing had actually improved.
Dude wat.
Hearing damage can be really painfull, please.
It's not a superpower when it hurts.

I dislike spiritualism and that was so new-age I nearly died with mild frustration.
But to add to your hopes: ever imagined colors that we haven't seen before? Chances are that they exist.
Light is a form of electromagnetic radiation. Only 1% (nonscientific number) of all electromagnetic radiation is visible to the human eye. X-rays, microwaves, radio waves are all electromagnetic radiation too. And UltraViolet too, the invisible color. So maybe they're all colors, and we can't see them. Maybe there's a hundredfold of colors all around us, and we don't have the capabilities too see them?
I've heard bugs are capable of seeing more colors than us, not sure about that tho, but it adds to the thrill.
Also, no. I can't see notes. Because I'm too bad at music ATM to recognize a tone, a chord, a key by ear. Guess all notes look ultraviolet too me.

This is not true at all in any legal sense. In practice, though, most of the time it will be ignored, some of the time you will get a takedown notice. If you're very unlucky you can be sued.
True, and covers free for download are ignored more than covers that cost money.
Also goes for soundtracks of video clips for nonprofit organisations over profit organisations

Lo-bat

family and other projects and work.
Plus Belgian.
Lo-bat, Chantal Goret en DMG plantlife were the Belgian chipscene. They didn't do much shows and since 2006-8 they kinda all retired or went semi active, maybe besides Marc Nostromo.
That album is also available on 8bp, for the little sense of national pride I have

He visits soundcloud, but doesn't really do anything. Has uploaded something 3 months ago. No comments and only follows a few people.
Uploaded his set 6 months ago, which was amazeballs. Which is all I know.

All rough draft, I can't tell if I'm making the eyes grey or light blue, and for the face it's pure black on white, no shading or anything.
Some are just plain stupid, but add to the general idea. My vote is bottom left.
More round is kinda hard, the mouth is 2, 3 or 4 pixels high, adding a pixel to the side looks really weird, look at number 2.
