In the context of the album it means that the soul is split from the body. This allows the protagonist to travel into the afterlife in order to commune with a dead woman.
Shawn - I hope you like it! It's pretty different from my other stuff, including the increased time investment to listen to the whole thing, but I'm very proud of the album.

"A zebra updates a personal best record in the full album which grazes the structure of an ambitious dream."
This marks my longest release to date, and the most complete vision of my world that I've managed thus far.
I hope those few NUMBERikA fans will appreciate this.
Available in mp3 and the original source files!

"You breach with the whales and blow a gush of salty water from your snout.
The net pulls you into the hull of the great golden ship.
Your bamboo practice blade transmogrifies; it is a manifold.
You grab the rudder and begin piloting your heart into outer space.
The wishes and dreams of small people become your pillow
as your eyes are drowned in an unimaginable slew of colors.
You are John Lithgow.
This is what it's like."

My second release on Piston Source!
"The second album from Zebra on Piston Source, Numberika demonstrates Zebra's mastery of pxtone soundscapes. More than just ambience, Numberika's tracks conjure images and emotions through its sounds. If you liked Door's 'Planetarium Sky,' you'll love 'Numberika.'"
