I think one of the best things you can do is have a monthly night at the same place on the same day every month. For example: Pulsewave in New York is at the Tank on the last Saturday of every month. 8Static in Philadelphia is at Studio 34 on the second Saturday of every month.

Once you get something that regular at a place willing to support what you do, and where people know where it's going to be every time, then building a community and organizing other gigs and visiting artists is much easier.

Hey everybody, Touchboy and I need some help getting gigs pinned down in Europe. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Our ideal itinerary is something like this:

Oct 22 - London
Oct 23 or 24 - Paris
Oct 25 or 26 - Vienna
Oct 27 or 28 - Berlin
Oct 29-31 Netherlands
Nov 1 or 2 - Brussels
Nov 3 or 4 - Spain
Nov 5 or 6 - South of France
Nov 7-9 - Italy

As you can see, there's a little bit of wiggle room but not much. We're trying to book this ASAP so we can confirm everything and take care of travel/accomodation arrangements.
