I'll at least take a listen, I use a gameboy and should be able to throw something together.

Uploaded Hey Ladies, for now anyway. Let me know what you guys think!

@SadPanda, I think it's at 128kps, but I'll give you a higher quality later on.

So, I finished Hey Ladies, should this stuff get posted to the site for critique or saved until the deadline? Dumb question?

fucking lol about nanoloop iphone being less limited than the other versions

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you've never used the other versions.

Yeahhh...aside from the sampling, gb nanoloop>iPhone nanoloop, for me anyways...

Looks good to me.

I've been using nanoloop 1.6 for all of my stuff. It has it's limits (number of patterns, song length, tempos, no samples) but it works great for me. Most of my music has been written to be played with some sort of accompaniment, so the difficulty with longer melodies and such usually isn't an issue. Nanoloop took me about ten minutes to figure out, LSDJ still looked daunting after the first ten, but that was just my experience. From what I gather (could be wrong) working in nanoloop is a bit faster than LSDJ.

Hey guys, relatively new here myself. I've been playing music for years, and teach music to pay the bills. Still new to chip stuff. I've been using nanoloop (1.6) so far. Mostly been writing for a band that is taking forever to take off...
I looked at LSDJ once and it seemed like it would take more than ten minutes to learn...so...yeah...nanoloop. That's about it. I've put some music up, always looking for input!

I was just thinking of doing a cover with my band, I'm down for a tribute thing.
Dibs on Sabotage if no one minds.

...and of course RIP MCA.

Could a USB keyboard controller be powered by a gameboy via link cable? I've got the nanoloop USB/midi adaptor and would like to play my gameboy as a synth, using mgb. But I don't want to purchase a real synth with midi out, or a controller with it's own power source, they tend to cost a bit more.

Ended up breaking the post and screw, turns out my gbp's screen is shot so this one's gotta get fixed. Just an broken solder spot, so no big deal. Thanks for the advice though!

Working on a song and the sound has been cut drastically. Still 'works' but next to no bass and all very quiet. I'm thinking one of my poor solder jobs came undone. No big deal, unless someone knows what else might cause this. Slightly more problematic is a screw with a stripped head preventing me from opening my case to fix anything. Any suggestions? I've got a gig Friday and would rather use not use my pocket.
