just play all the notes until it sounds good
yeah I know that method. it's really slow though.
the better your ears are and the more theory you know the faster you can write.

I know chords pretty well imma piano player but I was thinking something more along the lines of ear training and advanced theory
thanks!
I have found a way to fix that if you mess up and carve out a little too much.
use epoxy with a toothpick to dab it on and build that hole back up, a little too much so you can sand out some more.
use colored epoxy if you need to but with the black shells you can use a sharpie to color it back in.
I also have a korg X3 synth listed on my ebay page too if anyone is interested.
Figured this would be an excellent place to ask since Im a noob to emulators and whatnot?
Any body know a good place for Gameboy ROMs? or are there any sites that have ROMs for most systems?
Also any one know of good sites for parts? I've been looking for a 62 Pin connector for my snes-101 and I can only find the ones on ebay which are expensive or just refurbished.
here's the link

changed the caps, removed backlight, different batteries. nothing
If one were to attempt to make a wooden DMG case, one would hope that one has enough experience in woodworking to know.
This should seem obvious.
I used to work in a custom cabinet shop, with the right tools it wouldn't be that hard, maybe time consuming if you wanted to do a good job, but thats what it takes to make good wood crafts.
Sharp tools and patience.
Type of wood wouldn't make a difference, just depends what you want.
Some woods are harder than others and therefore harder to work requiring more precision, patience, and SHARP tools.
Some woods are prettier than others so that's just preference.
Poplar, cherry, & pine are soft so easy to work, but also easily dentable.
Maple, ash, ebony, walnut, oak are harder woods= harder to work but more durable, also much prettier.
because maybe you want a repetitive instrument like a snare but with changing volume? or maybe after two years this thread still has good info in it?
but uhhh..........
Skrotch you saying a diff instrument with all the same setting except for the envelope at a lower volume without retriggering the note by leaving that step with the new intstrument blank?
bad thing about this is that it eats up the cmd column so now you can't add other cmmds like E or F
pm'd
just tried downloading the C64, terminus fonts link said file has been deleted
pretty cool idea with some minor tweaks.
nice color choice kind of looks like a fade
but you'll never learn how to do it until you just do it.
Learn to play an instrument. escpecially piano. study every aspect of music that you can. Train your ears and your mind.
then begin to tinker around with writing/improving your own melodies/songs.
It's a journey.
Well I searched the LSDJ wiki site before I came here. Just did a search with rom checksum fail and nothing showed up
and Anyway, if I used the wrong word my bad
after opening Mgr I click OPEN V sav button.
So to clarify: Load kits & samples into the ROM----------Load sng files into the .sav?
