Justin Thursday did an atomic purple CGB that was painted white from the inside, it looked sexy as hell. I think a bright blue or red would look nice, but that's just me.

Happy modding smile

^no, not at all! They're definitely noticeable now, but I'm going to paint it from the inside, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Been noticing some things about WAV basses when mixing my latest album.  Notes E2 (E3 in earlier versions) are actually in the sub range, and if you have a sine wave, it will be almost inaudible on most systems.  An A2 sits right the sweet spot of most bass EQ curves and will sound punishingly loud compared to lower notes.

I have a crap stereo that I've built from parts I bought at goodwill, and their 'sweet spots' are at about a C3, which isn't too far off.

I thought you'd never axe!

boaconstructor is spot on. washington is great.

Sorry for your loss, I've gone through the same thing. Mine was blue, and backlit/prosounded/half-clocked and it was rad as shit.

My pocket is dead and in pieces now, I've stolen everything usable out of it.

I hate to say it, but people use DMGs for a reason. smile

I've had this problem with low batteries on my pocket. It seems more prominent when they're backlit, too. Some of the EMS cartridges don't play nice with gameboy pockets (32m, early versions of 64m) Maybe you could try using a wired power source or something.

Hope this helps, best of luck to you smile

I live about an hour's drive away from seattle, I haven't been to any chip shows yet (still fairly new to the scene) I've talked with chipmusicians in the area, and they're really cool. And Non-chip musicians also.
