Dance like mad or get some effects!
It also depends on what software you use, I don't know a lot of pc trackers but I'm sure there is something you can do live to change sounds

Well, actually I have a PC with Windows 7 and I managed pretty easily to install the EMS cart drivers. It's not that difficult, it's just that 7 sucks when it comes to install drivers manually and you have to search around for the right function.

Can't wait for this album to come out! This sounds great! But, like Decktonic said, you need to mix/master these better. Also, I felt like the track "As Stars" didn't have an ending. Maybe try to write an ending to the song instead of just fading out? Just a suggestion, I am in no position to tell you what you should do. The flying duck is my favourite track of the two, it gives me a very IAYD feel.

Thank you really much! About the mastering/mixing, when I'll have the mixer maybe I will ask on the forum for some advices about eq and compressing, I'm totally a noob in these things tongue
Yay I know, I didn't put an end because I actually prepared the "mixing" version, the one that playing live I would fade to let in another song, I'm also working on the end but main is done.

I didn't actually know IAYD, thanks for telling me! yikes

Thanks to Decktonick too!

First topic!!
Uh, I mean...

I'm planning on making an album release of some tracks I'm working on...
But I think that still there's something not okay with my tracks and I would just like you to have a listen and tell me if something's wrong, or if I can do something (anything!) better.

I'm sorry for the poor mixing/mastering, planning to get a xenyx 802 as soon as I can :<

The flying duck (LSDJ)

&

As Stars (2xLSDJ)

Thank you smile

They're at about half the funding, and they also made a video where they show the first three potentiometers and other stuff

I'm not in the US and I'm poor so I definetely can't buy all of this awesomeness
but I love the topic title

Man, I joined chiptune to become rich and famous and now y'all say me you don't make any money?

So I think it's an important distinction to make, nobody is making chiptunes for the money.

I agree with this.

Hello.
I am Merutochan and I started trying to make chiptune music last summer. I improved a bit my skills but I still have a lot to learn. Until now I've only used LSDJ because I don't have my C64 power supply lol.
I also play the guitar and I'd also like to play in a chiptune band and compose beautiful tracks as Anamanaguchi do.
I have a soundcloud and you can check it out if you want.
