when it's all based on PC trackers? Everything I've made so far has either used FamiTracker, SunVox, or  both (plus Hammerhead for drums...)

I feel like standing behind a laptop and hitting play would be a joke... I'm probably going to add some stuff from Trippy-H and some electic bass to my tracks, but I still feel like pressing play on the trackers isn't right... What options do I have?

if your own music makes yu want to dance, just dance. i wondered this myself, i make song in tracker but how do i play it live? do i make changes so i have to manuallly do things to tracks to keep busy? seemed counter-productive for me so i leave it how it is and hit play.

i say relax and be yourself. Releasing any kind of release, whether it be a single, ep, full-length, is your time to be a rockstar, wether others accept it or not. Just dont celebrate by taking too much cough medicine to trip. Before you know it you'll be a 30 yer old with a 75 year old's brain.

Nd helps me sleep at night

And with a track like that Keishi Yonao can DUMP his mode on me anytime. no homo.

Either announce it onstage right before you play, or at least tell the people who approach you after, that what you were doing live onstage was hard work. This way they won't assume you were playing a videogame the whole time you were up there.

I get a lot of motivation from the show Gilmore Girls and more recently watching Krysten Ritter act. I like things that are dreamy and I like when I can pull off a dreamy sound in a pattern or two.

you could always opt for making fakebent http://www.kvraudio.com/product/bend_box_by_tonebytes

I live with my wife and cat, Peanut. Peanut isn't my wife, he's a cat and besides he's male. I work a full-time graveyard shift job in a group home for children with special needs and a part-time job doing ABA therapy for a kid who lives with autism. I also enjoy geocaching and talking with buddies on irc. I need to exercise more.
