Everyone that hasn't mentioned Punch-Out should jump off a bridge.

Thought that went without saying.

Hm. Bumping this to ask a related question that I don't think requires a separate topic. Does anyone know of any Gameboy game soundtracks that made heavy use (abuse?) of WAVE channel manipulation like many LSDJ users (LSDJs?) do? Like, most of what I've heard in the games I've played was NES triangle bass emulation. Not a whole lot of technical stuff going on in the Wave channel.

Section Z, Ikari Warriors 1 and 2, CONTRA, Super C, Iron Tank (if you're patient with slow moving tanks. The music is keen), Bonk's Adventure, 3D World Runner, Rad Racer, Ring King, and "Rygar".

Something about sneaking around and collecting information:

Somebody on another forum said "Finder's Keep" (see previous post) was bland. I hope this one isn't as bland. Hopefully it can keep your attention until the end. I imagined this could be in a spy film or futuristic action detective film or something.

The "Lyle in Cube Sector" soundtrack has some cool mods.
Edit: Don't know about the "Amiga" part, though...

I wish there was an alt version of LSDJ that doesn't include the ghetto kit by default =\

Like... even a "meme" kit would be better than that...

This is cool, but your stream link doesn't have a file extension.

I dunno... these samples might be useful. Is it okay if I just drop these here?

Cool. Linkin Park noise snarishness (I'm sure they didn't invent it but they're the oldest band and the first band I heard do that that I can think of)

I like the simplicity if the first track. I wish I could play a game to this sad

it was definitely "take this out"

naaaaah, i'm quite sure it was 'check this out', despite the sample being named VOC_TakeThisOut.wav

Sounded like "Take This Out" to me...

For some reason I remembered there being an orchestra hit swell at the end of the sample... maybe that was a different one...

This thread has inspired me to resurrect some samples from the old 90's module program "Sound Club". Maybe you guys can use them.

This is a cool idea. I suppose one would not penalize the younger kids who grew up with older siblings on 8-bit/16-bit consoles, and didn't graduate up to a PSX until 2003, lol.

Anyway, I'm too old, so have fun, kids big_smile.

I never thought of using multiple copies of renamed lsdj.gb's to use multiple saves. Huh. Does that work?

Yeah, make sure you make a backup copy of the sav your copy from your Cart before you start messing with it in lsdmanager.

All the stuff I want to see they don't show on TV sad

It's a java program. You have to run it, not extract it.
