"game consoles only"? what?
I'm talking about in terms of instrumentation.
Edit: I'm saying people whos music is primarily and predominantly old-gaming/computing-electronics based who are actually trying to get into the mainstream.

Hey MicroD, I am looking forward to it. I still watch that video of you drumming to Gameboy mariachi sometimes.
I feel like this thread kind of turned into a "Whatever happened to _____" clone.
It's too bad there aren't any "game consoles only" chipmusic artists trying as hard to "make it big" as Anamanaguchi is to compare the two. Science, we need experiments.
But anyway, congrats to them, I wish I could have seen it on the tube (not youtube).
Kartmaze that album art
I haven't listened to much of this type industrial(?) stuff so I don't have a great point of reference to judge it, but I really enjoyed listening to this.
Oh! I forgot to say Together We Are Robots was a nice experience too, especially once the guitar kicked in. He had some really cool music, reminded me of cowboys and campfire.... there were some eHecklers in the chat-crowd, though -_-
It kind of reminded me of that one girl with a similar name with the whole "he's 'playing' guitar, but it's not doing anything" feeling at the beginning, haha. Thankfully the host linked us to his bandcamp so we could get the proper experience.
I remember last year i was checking out some songs on here from years past and saw saskrotch lamenting the general lack of triplets in this communi yat that time. Then I found this tutorial and started using triplets, so thank you saskrotch.
I like 6 and 12 and 13 the best.
Yes! Jotie. That's just what I was looking for, except possibly a little more round than square. Maybe.
i think the mouth should be a little lower on the face, more of an expression of awe or bafflement instead of an "oooooo" like "ooo that looks goooooood".
^And maybe this too.^
And you may want to center the mouth on the :3 face
I will remove it when i release it
Goody!
I'm just saying... I'd prefer if there was no smilie for that combination of characters than to have one that misrepresents them. But if everybody uses the : o emoticon in the same way that Bit Wish's smilie diagram illustrates then nevermind.
Just figured I'd ask, though.
Is it possible to make the smilie look more like : o and less like D: or am I just using it wrong? The way it is now looks horrified/disgusted, but I want to use it for just flabbergastration in general, be it good or bad.
How do they do it? How do they make 8-bit puns sound soooo cooooool! :-o
I feel bad that the only name on there that I'm familiar with is Brandon Walsh but that will soon be rectified.
Looking good. Green is my favorite coluor.
this is a it off-topic but slightly related but it'd be cool to have $0.25 capsule toy machines at a chip show with stickers and other small promotional items. But maybe that's too capitalistic if you just normally give them away for free. Also could be dangerous if people start throwing them at each other.
Anywhoo, looking forward to close-ups.
I'm really looking forward to getting ahold of an ems cart soon so I can muddy_gb through my Digitech RP355 guitar multifx processor.
Edti: come to think of it I could just emulate it on my android to see how it works out why didn't I think of that before? hrm.
scroll up for the pic!
I scrolled up but it just took me to the top of page 78 what is this?
