Sounds cool. I wouldn't mind downloading it.

Does Gameboy Advance count as Gameboy?
It'd pretty awesome to see a Gameboy Advance tracker that can take advantage of the Advances sound system as well as the DMG sound system that's built in to create some more texturing. I was recently listening to the Megaman Battle Network soundtracks with an analytical ear and noticing for the first time the layering of the 2 Pulse Channels and Wave Channel and Noise channel over the samples of flutes, orchestra hits, drums, and other things to create really sweet tunes and textures. It was kind of like a Gameboy with perhaps two extra PCM channels.
Or does something like this already exist?

I gotta say, I didn't think this would get much attention here due to the fact it's hardly real chiptune.
Seriously thanks guys, glad you're enjoying it!
'tis good music with blips and bloops from a spectacular (imo) musician (checked out some of your non-chip stuff and youtube videos and do you really have a song in one of those Taiko Drum Master games? Cool beans), so you shouldn't be too surprised. Everything blends so well I don't even care to try to figure out what flavor of bleeps I'm hearing and whether or not they are "authentic".
I'm just curious, do you have any clarinet-midi-controller Gameboy stuff on any of your albums, or is that reserved for live performances?

Re: Comment box. (10 replies, posted in Bugs and Requests)
Yeah shout box. I usually have no incentive to click on a song unless I happen to see a name I recognize, which is difficult because it approaches a wall of text up there.
Meanwhile if I saw that someone said 'oh man this track is sick' in a little shoutbox, I'd probably check it out regardless of who it is.
Yeah. I usually click on songs with interesting or very boring titles, names I recognize, and blue bars in place of grey ones, meaning somebody has commented on, downloaded, or bookmarked the song so it's worth checking out.

I have an online acquaintance (not registered here) who goes by Litis who did some kind of chiptunish sounding album using Modplug Tracker/OpenMPT and VSTs and stuff. I don't think it's supposed to be chiptune, but his music has lot's of chippy sounds (which I didn't appreciate way back when he first released, but do appreciate now). He describes it as moody electronica. He seems to have given up music, and I don't really know if you can find him or whatever, don't know his real name, but he is in Israel. That's about as good as I can give.
Here's the release thread I made for his EP if you want to hear what he was into back in 2007.

Sweet stuff. Macaroni and Cheese reminds me of the staff roll of Sonic 3d Blast ("You're My Hero") in a good way.

Re: Trippy-H ... do you really use it? (22 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
I find it fun to noodle around with and if I like something done on it, I print out the music. From there I can transcribe it to lsdj or mainly nanoloop, and work with it further. Can't figure out how to emulate it's modulation on anything yet, but that's just time and effort.
I had no idea you could print out music from trippy-h. Cool. Tell me more. Does it print out in score format? Or tracker, or what?

Re: 2013 - Dare To Not Release Music Year (103 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I assume you will have a bunch of a free time if you aren't composing for a year. Any of those ideas will help people get better, why not give them a try?
He actually said "Release", though. Which is actually a rather intriguing idea now that I think about it. I wonder if composing and releasing music has a different effect on one's musicality than merely composing and keeping it to yourself. If you're one who likes to mix and master and do your own artwork, etc, that can take away a lot from composing time.
I find it kind of endearing in a way, that Zan-Zan is throwing himself under the bus along with all the artists who made the music he felt was devoid of feeling.
Just to throw out an alternate point of view.
"The Year the Chiptune Well Ran Dry" would be a pretty dramatic turn of events.

i googled it... yep.
A gyron is a triangular heraldic ordinary formed by two lines extending from the edge of the shield to meet at the center at a 45° angle.

Wool Pack is albmutoric.

Albmut (Almetj, Almasj, people), is a political party in the Sami Parliament .
Albmut was founded before the 2009 elections, it received 2.5% of votes cast in the election and received a mandate, which is possessed by Lars-Paul Kråik.

. Because it's more of an interactive music video than a game, I didn't feel too cheated with the camouflaged cross-hairs.
Looking forward to more of this kind of stuff. It really gave me the same level of satisfaction as the bad endings of Iji and Cave Story, Herocore and Ape Escape. (^_^)b Not trying to come off as an ingrate. It was really good.
