knife city's newest EP is just amazing, inspiring even

If anything is to be learned from performers like USK or Knife City it is this......GET HYPED! Get hyped and everyone around you will too. Make that room a party no matter how dismal it is before you start performing

I just have my gameboy and a speaker :C My DMG is kinda dying on me now though, I'm super depressed. What's a good mixer to get?

I'm working on my EP which incorporates elements of dubstep in it, in fact I just released a track today that gets very wubwubwubwubby at about 1:50isn here's a link to it http://chipmusic.org/girl+posse/music/g … ad-boy-cat

Other than that you could listen to Unicorn Kid's old stuff

I have to say personally, unless the tunes are just phenomenal, I'd feel like if the artist is just rocking back and forth that they aren't really "performing" (but who is to say what is performance and what is not right?) If there is a mixer and you can turn some knobs and every once in a while pick up the gameboy to do some stuff then you'll probably look fine

Make the songs rad as eff, I mean just because it's an EP doesn't mean it shouldn't have the same quality tunes as an LP. Uhhhhh I guess you could spam facebook with your tunes, maybe have a release party and invite all your friends and play your tunes and hand out little cards with links to your bandcamp or maybe even a download code

I was thinking about this the other day actually. It seems like the only reasonable thing to do would be to bring another instrument along with you to play while you look at the gameboy every once in a while. Otherwise you're skrillex.
