look for the solderjoints underneath the screen. in most cases when removing the refclecting layer from behind the screen, it gets loose on min. 2 Pins. I had the same issue and just resoldered 2 pins.

i still dunno what normal and super hero means xD

i would say its a buggy one and you should call the seller for that

lol , how about a spongebob squarepants layout ;D

I have tried all speakers from the nintendo handheld line, even notebook speakers, they all work like a charm, but remember, the og. speaker is 8Ohm smile

I did this one too for the first time. used a hotairgun to desolder the chip from the SGB pcb, took about 5 minutes with max airflow and 220 degree celcius 1cm away from the board in circles. on the dmg board i just cut off the pins from the old cpu and cleaned the solderpoints.ich attached the sgb cpu on the dmg board, looked that every pin sits right and applied solder to all pins and joined all, then get over them with desoldering braid and after there is only a bit of solder left on the pins, go from in to out with the solderiron on each pin. look that there are now bridges between the pins, clean afterwards with isopropanol, check, done !
Took me about 1 hour on my first time.

buttons ok, but dpad i give a double facepalm

when and where are this units available and for what price?
I want some of these so much!

I always buy such dirty DMGs, because no one wants them and you get them for a very low price. Like every console i mod, i first disassemble all in every single part, all plastic parts go on a bath first, classic with soap and a good clean with a not more used toothbrush. After that, if there is any dirt or something, it gets a good clean with isopropanol. when there is any rubber or silicon rests, i get them away with something i got from my pc for cleaning thermal compound. its from artic and called ArctiClean.

I've done it a bit like this without using spray paint and wanted it to look more ghostish than white.
I just used aceton and nailpolisher from the inside to acid it a bit.
