mgb. rack mount it.

Yes, that's more or less the idea, but I don't mean filtering what the console is making, I mean controlling the filter provided by LSDJ.

Hey guys.

Reading about synths today I came across an idea and I was wondering wether it's been done already or not and if it would be possible.
This is making a hardware piece allowing the user to manually modify the filter, filter parameters and type of wave in the WAV channel on LSDJ, with potentiometers and such stuff, in a hardware-synth style.
This would be awesome in order to use the Game Boy WAV channel as a synth, while playing on a MIDI keyboard or something like that.

70??? When I thought of selling mine a few years ago they'd look at me smiling before offering 15... I.e.

I think nitro's suggestion is much more fair than making new people post on pre-made threads by someone else, mainly because if they can't ask their own questions, they won't be able to participate in most threads...

Now that I have a Mega Memory Card I can download my pics from the GBCamera... AT LAST!

Oh boy... I thought my 64M would work : /

Do you mean any cartridge (games included)? Or just flashcarts?

I alread got mine. Dope and awesome!

They're plug-and-play, yes. They're also all tested.

A few questions:
What version of LSDj are you using?
Are you booting with the keyboard plugged in, or plugging it in after boot?
Is the sequencer playing?

Also check your batteries, sometimes with low batteries the keyboard will power up but not work.

Feel free to use the contact form at the shop, by the way. I'm more than happy to help with product related troubleshooting.

Sorry! I was just asking for general help, I'm sure you wouldn't let a faulty item get to a customer.

OK, problem solved! It was an issue with my instruments! I've got it working now. Thank you for your fast response!

Hello!

I've recently gotten one of these cables. Just got a PS/2 keyboard from a friend and I thought it was plug and play... but it may not.

When I plug the keyboard's cable to the ASM adapter (being the DMG turned one) the 3 lights on the keyboard light up for a second and then turn off (that's "Num Lock", "Caps Lock" and "Scroll Lock"). After that I haven't managed to get any sound from it. I of course switched to keyboard sync on LSDJ but I must be doing something wrong...
I created a new song with new empty chains and phrases.

Am I doing something wrong or could it be that my keyboard isn't working properly?

EDIT: I've just realised that my PC has a PS/2 weird connection available and tried the LSDJ keyboard. It works perfectly (I am posting with it right now)... So it's not the keyboard itself then.

Quick question about keyboard modding, do the keyboards all have to have the PS/2 connection or would a USB one work? Just curious since I got a USB keyboard laying around and when I opened it up the circuit board had a layout of  V,G, D+,D- and the 5th wire was unlabeled. I also have a DMG-07 to use for this mod as well just for the heads up.

It has to be PS/2. USB doesn't use the same communication protocol as PS/2 and the DMG do.

Sexy paper

I'm also interested in what viciousitaly is asking. Either if it's just a GB thing or with added post-effects as well.

Those are the super famicom controller buttons I gave ya! They're much better than NES buttons in my opinion. Glad to see them in use.

Dang, I knew they couldn't be NES because they were different... but had no clue where they came from hahaha. Thank you!
