Can you put here SP -> GBA screen mod???

It may be possible but you would probably have to solder from the board to the end of the ribbon cable. I might have to give this a try!

It's the only one I've ever had and I'm terrible at video games! I still love them though smile

Oh man. I've been playing Mega Man 2 on Game Boy since I was a youngin'. That game is incredible and still insanely difficult to this day.

Free admission. All ages.
20+ track album: $5

Awesome. Nothing looks better than a good backlit pocket!

hopefully not too much longer!  just waiting on samples, twiddling thumbs...

you should add some clear silicon start/select buttons, and illuminate them too wink

Was going to say this!
That looks awesome tho!
I've been wanting to finish mine up will all backlit buttons as well!

Those buttons are actually the same blue as yours. The camera just didn't capture it properly.

This is actually clearish blue and it is as clear as they come:

You can only frontlight and AGB-001.
You need to use the frontlight unit from an AGS-001. AGS-101 will not work as it is a backlight.

This is a time consuming mod and can be expensive as you need to cannibalize an Advance SP.

Mine wont let me update the ROM...

You could try removing the battery to completely clear the .sav but you may not be able to upload a new one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Gba should be the same as the dmg, right?

Nope. The amp is pre-pot. So if you solder to the pot you still have the amp messing everything up.
If you look up from the pot/jack area you will see 2 copper pads. Follow those traces back until you see 2 smd resistors.
Remove the resistors or just solder to the side closest to the CPU.
Sorry this is very badly detailed but I don't have an AGB in front of me right now.
Hope it helps!

P.S. No volume control.

Wow. That's awesome. What kind of plug is that? Is it useable with common equipment?

Nope, it's just a header. If I had the hardware for it, it would.

Pretty useless, but I thought it'd serve good for informational purposes. Very clean wiring.

I think nitro2k01 mentioned on his website something about the pads for the LCD data potentially being used for video output, and this confirms that.

Right. I just realized how dumb that statement was.
