Another friend told me that all of Detroit was the worst place in the world.

Maybe, but not too dangerous ...mostly since you don't see other people much when in Detroit ...place is empty and falling apart

slightly more hassle, but you could go with piggy tracker, piggy->midi (or the win port or renoise) & mssiah/hardsid/sammichsid options for a more lsdj-like tracker to control a c64

So... is this in 4 days or after Blipfest?

after.. 2nd flyer has wrong month smile

well, if this happens and i'm available, i do happen to do visuals (didn't bring that gear up to milwaukee obviously, had enough to lug already)

like i said before, id probably be down, but a lot depends on date and location

and the acekard 2i is supposed to be dsi compatible anyway smile

but he also has a 3DS, doesnt that support all dsi stuff?

acekard's do work pretty well, never had any issues with mine and you don't need to patch roms

And I'm probably going to buy at least one of your LSDJ T-shirts when I get my next paycheck, they look awesome!

i'm not so sure about cm.org apparel.. would probably have to be discussed among the staff before it could be ok'd..

I need at least a 30 minute commute, seated, to get anything cool going.

im currently taking the metra home from work leaving my car in the burbs, drinking beer and comfortably seated for about 45 minutes smile (no power outlets though, thatd be nice)

hahaha, yeah.. i already make the piggy->midi lock up with some of my tables on  midines stuff, may be best not to mess with that too much, pretty sure i gave up when i was first learning midines since it was crashing a lot

akira: yet MidiNES actually you can send actual PCM data using cc numbers... SOMEHOW

explain, since this would seem to be a feature i am unaware of
edit: do you mean the PCM modulation you can do with CC messages?
