i definitely have some for you on that, nordloef.. have to check the hdd later

yeah, like i was saying, subfolders are the key.. i just got lazy for a minute and threw all the e.s.c. savs in one folder when i started working on d_strct

My opinion is that sharing it would ruin the value for the people who managed to kickstart Blip. Why devalue their support?

my support was valuable? heart yikes

well, thats fucking bizzare then.. wish i still had other psp models to help trouble shoot, but besides the slowdown in certain folders, piggy is stable on the go (or at least mine)

so far, responses are anti-sharing it.. hopefully they post in here too, but 3 of 7 werent into it being public (and no response from other 4 yet)

quick question, do you have a lot of folders in the same directory, as in you havent divided projects into subdirectories? i get some serious slow down on psp go when i navigate to folders with maybe 40+ projects in them

You can get some great distortion out of FM (Sega and MS-DOS stuff.) I'm not sure why people aren't making metal that way.

fm in general is great for distorted guitar, 2nd place to weird wav channel cycling, 3rd to pulse duty cycle modulation.. lots of options, though piggy's sampling, distortion, etc makes it great to work with too, just in some ways less pure chip (if you for some reason are hung up on that)

Since this was given away as a perk for a Kickstarter campaign, I think the expectation is that the save is at least semi-public. I would think of it more as a piece of history than as someone's private files. Though considering the small number of artists featured on the cartridge, you could also just ask them. Of course, since we don't know who won the auction (right?) it's that person's decision too, in the end and this discussion is hypothetical. They may not want to risk devaluing their cartridge. Then again, won't be long until the battery dies.

agreed, i think now, 5 years out, its hit a point where most if not all orig carts are about to have battery death, and those artists knew it was to be redistributed a bit already.. ill try and direct some of them to this topic to get thei opinions as to how many fucks (if any) they give about the sav being shared.. im sure some of the tracks are already available as sav file somewhere

im sure i have some more of these, jsut no time to look right now.. im busy getting things ready for releases im putting out tomorrow.. ill check back this weekend and search out anything that hasnt already been sorted out.. i'm 90% sure i have both da chip's

i might still have that sav, cant be sure since i gave my cart to Fumu/Esopus and i dont want to look at every .sav on my hard drives (i used to be the only guy in chicago with a transferer for a bit, so id backup for other people too.. between that and remix stuff and my sav's, probably have 40 or so scattered around)
considering you had to donate something like $150-200 to get one, $100 isn't horrible if you want it for collector reasons... wouldnt be surprised if there werent more than maybe 10-25 of them total

wait, you still exist?

hey, can people stop posting things that are already out in this thread? its called upcoming releases for a reason smile
if its out, make a new thread in the releases subforum for it (and don't post it in here)

OP, can you (or a mod) edit the title of the thread to be more generic being as you found the DnB album?

since this is progressing into a search/find thread and whatnot

Done! Also, thank you Nordloef! big_smile

This will be a sweet thread

Edit: I've been trying to find/buy a copy of Cow'p "Bass Experience" for quite some time. He doesn't have it on sale online anymore/anywhere and nobody will sell me theirs sad Do you guys think it would be cool to ask for it since he wouldn't be making any money on a used copy anyways? Or if by chance there is some obscure link where I can purchase it that would also be appreciated! I really really want to get this album! Should have bought it at bilp 08 while I had the chance *sigh*

Edit 2: I think it's time we make a DMG DNB vol 2

i'd maybe sell mine, but not sure whats the right/fair amount to ask given it being out of print and no one selling one in forever... flashbob stuff is uploading now, can link it in a little

if you are open in non-music gear trades, im interested.. getting rid of a bunch of cds, some vinyl & misc other stuff (like a 70s tube video camera setup, though i couldnt do an even trade on that both because shippng would be around $50 and the camera setup itself is worth over $200, hard to price them since they rarely show up for sale)
