Cheers mate. Glad to hear it's still doing its job.

You got it at an absolute bargain price, too. Man, was I annoyed. But yeah, running a very specific auction to end a day before christmas and expecting it to do well was kind of stupid... smile After that, I completely lost interest in modding Gameboys for money.

that was really weird, no idea how it slipped past other people (or if i was just the only person who had some cash left before the holidays)...but yep, still plugging along nicely smile

for what its worth, video feedback wouldnt be automated in most situations.. usually if you leave the same settings for any length of time, it turns to crap or doesnt change beyond flashing

can attest to der warst's soldering/modding quality, should be well worth the price... i'm still using a backlit prosound dmg i bought off him in 2006 or 2007 and it works great (this was the OG method.. before kits, kitsch, nonfinite, etc)

there are a bunch of old pieces of software for dos/win/mac on www.audiovisualizers.com that work well for this.. cthuga, for example, reacts to whatever is running through your soundcard, so a line signal from the mixer into a laptop/pc hooked to the projector and you're set

Europe isn't like the US. You can't have a chiptune party twice a month here, because the fanbase needed for that simply doesn't exist.

though really thats only even the case in NYC (and maybe philly/detroit)...most of the US is in the same boat

i still only have one prosound. not a huge issue, i kill the hum with noise reduction in post production

this is going to be an album release gig for me, going to play all new nanoloop stuff on three game boys (1.3, 1.6.3 & 2.3)
