When is somebody just going to make a surface mount Game Boy circuit so that we can this any mod in wherever?

Does the DMG not have proper power supply filtering? All you really need is a Zener diode at the power connection and possibly some very small compensation caps to ground at whatever op amps it uses.

Where's the "I will come to your house" pledge option?
Also, sweet design. The component layout is killer work.

Alright, so I'm settling on getting a higher-end multimeter without hFE.
I found the Peak DCA55 for all of my transistor needs. IT EVEN MEASURES THE LEAKAGE!

After years of masturbating to Trip World, I can play any game one-handed.

Matthew, it's a big issue for me too. I understand that most people don't work with discrete circuits anymore, but there are still the few of us who absolutely need to take hFE readings.
I'm building with old germaniums here at some point, and those things vary so much that I need an accurate read to figure out which of these things to toss out before finding out the hard way.

My cheap Chinese piece of garbage finally crapped out on me. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did, and I was kind of questioning it's accuracy anyways.
So, I'm looking for a new meter that is dependable but won't break the bank. Sockets for transistor hFE reading is an absolute must.
Thanks.

Even though B means that the Game Boy uses a linear part, I think that a log tapered would be better.

For the record, these guys are awesome. Cislon is one of the best drummers I've ever had the pleasure of working with.
However, this is probably my least favorite song by them, and I really don't know why they chose it.

Re: Favorite LSDJ instrument? (39 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
Whatever I did to the wave channel in my cover of "Last Christmas" by Wham.
One of the most disappointing things about when my cartridge crashed is that I lost that instrument and forgot how to make it.
Edit: If anybody could help me out, I made the waveform look like a kind of crazy asymmetrically clipped wave. To me, it sounded kind of like the solo in "Digital Love" by Daft Punk.

Output of an SNES into a laptop would be fairly easy, but then the problem lies of powering the SNES without any ready outlets in most of those filming locations.
