A pair of screen shots of the Game Boy support before the release of the V5!.

How exciting! You're really working to build "the" multi-system tracker, not just FM-supported systems!

also: wavetable wavetable wavetables! can't wait to play with wavetables.

This is too exciting! Hear, hear! We have wavetables!

So if I understand, on a Game Boy Advance, this can make a back up of the Nanoloop 2.5 rom + songs for Windows, but it can't work in reverse back to the Nanoloop cart? Would the Nanoloop 2.5 rom + songs work on EZ Flash IV? How does anyone get this other than ordering the Nanoloop cart. I had a Nanoloop 2.3 rom which I upgraded by the update on the Nanoloop site.*

*I was worried the Nanoloop 2.5 upgrade was faulty. Is there any reason I should have to worry about it?

MaxForLive is also awesome. But only if you like Live and have money. http://www.maxforlive.com/featured/

In the OP, I was looking at Audiomulch, Bidule & Renoise, alternatives to Max & Live.

It sounded more like "proof of concept" than something someone can use.

Some programs can't host other programs in them, which makes them more appealing to me. SunVox? Does that let you host other programs in it?

i agree with godinpants you are talking about reaktor????

also if you like to draw lines between effects and synths, try Buzz or psycle !!!

I mentioned Reaktor in OP.

Buzz and Psycle aren't multiplatform, like the other programs. So I would have to use Boot Camp, or attempt to run them on my Asus EeePC1000H.

its awesome.  totally stable and made for live fuckery.  but you can do so much more with it as well

Yay Audiomulch!

I think he meant reaktor

Also my favourite aspect of PD was live patching. Some guys at uni and myself used to set up networks and just patch from scratch, and as you progressed you'd request different data like a clock signal or pitch or anything from someone and they'd patch it through. And it just built into this giant modular jam.

I heard some live patching going on in Renoise. It looks fun.
