Should be ok, although as a rule of thumb, never use blanks in file names when you plan to pass them on to a script/web script.
Usually I'd also rant about including your artist name, but cm.org renames the file anyways.

Just an idea: How about Forum-navigation between the search and the online list? Would need to be in the 'small' layout style, of course. I wouldn't mind having that on every page.
Well, I like the multi-column layout for new music, because it doesn't favor the latest upload so much (as the up-down list on 8bc does)
And yeah, if I close my bookmark list, your layout works fine.
ui, that might work on wide screen, but not so good on my 18"
ps its fixed. and it was your name.
Thank you!
I'm special!
Also, the Recent button was the one I used most often. I like that you made it into home- just a thought, would it be possible to declutter the front page a bit by making a Forums button that has a drop down? Likewise, you could make the Music button drop down the filter options.
Ignore this if that is a horrible design idea, because I have no idea how to create good GUIs

Happy birthday!
Ohh this is going to be great! Downloading.
Seriously, thread title looked like FREE WAFFLES & FOOT MASSAGE to me.
Look for a company number
You may still find it in the register:

I think it highly depends on how the company was dissolved. If the IPs where auctioned off, for example. Or if the company died while owned by a larger body. Sometimes rights go to the distributor. Your only chance is to try and get in contact with someone who was in charge of this stuff when the company was still there. If you're very lucky, the trademark is registered under the new owner.
I know IPs can vanish into legal limbo, where nobody knows who owns what (which is another glaring fault in the current copyright system, imo), but it's risky to just assume public domain - or rather, that nobody cares, because eventually someone does care. Many indie game developers/modders who want to use IPs of bygone companies face the same problem.
Maybe your best bet is to try and get in touch with the artist, if he/she is credited.
Disclaimer: No lawyer, just have seen this kind of thing happen with game IPs
This is awesome. Simply perfect.
I make and listen to music (that is, enjoy art in general) so I don't give in to my misanthropy and run amok
Hmm, actually sounds a lot like ATR, only with the overdrive wheel on the master distortion turned down
Reminds me a lot of Alec's recent-ish solo stuff, soundwise. I did like Golden Foretaste of Heaven though, so I may actually getting this.
The shouts are mixed in a bit loud (or the music sounds silent) on the previews, is it the same with the actual album?
Oh wow..
..although, having an anti-social network is kind of a neat idea.

GB and NES being the 'mascot' platforms is a fairly recent development though. The C64 arguably held that title a few years ago, for a long time.
My take on it is that most of the 'new' wave of popular, live performing artists (Nullsleep, 8BW, Bitshifter, Bubblyfish, Sabrepulse) use GBs, and newcomers to the scene are far more likely to stumble upon their music via Google than, say, Joule. Just look at the 'how can I start' posts by new members, everyone is asking where to buy and how to pro-sound a GB. I think wanting to emulate the sound of something new you fell in love with down to the instruments is fairly normal, I know I wanted a Strat when I listened to Nirvana.
The thing is that I can separate which ones can see my feeds, something I can't do on twitter or facebook. Like, Chip stuff I would share with chip people, other stuff to friends, nothing to my collegues from work.
Pardon my ignorance, but isn't that exactly what Friend Lists on Facebook do?
