I seem to recall that low-gain mentioned to solder a capacitor to the jack line, in order to catch spikes. Can't give any more detailed instructions on that unfortunately, I'm a software guy. hmm

Yep!

You can filter out audio under vocals in audacity with its noise removal tool, if there's a section of the same music pattern without the vocals. This produces noticeable artefacts, which sound very ugly. You're probably better off with looking for an acapella stem of the track.

There's a lot of 8bc tracks, plus much 8bp

Looking forward to more track comments like that:

is this a newly invented music genre? I have never heard anything quite like this before. This is so awesome, I feel like I am playing Mario Brothers with Infected Mushroom in the background. This is awesome!

Yeah, you're free with size and design. Also the arrangement of the slider, although I think like that or similar makes sense.

And yeah, Merzbow. Just don't let yourself be inspired by the cover of that album, or nobody will want to use the thing wink

If you're up for it, you know the drill! I would be happy to work with you again.

I wanted to unleash dread and despair on forum coders.

It'll be released once I get graphics and implement them, then a few days more for finishing touches. It'll be free, I'm one of those people who still like the share&care aspect of the chipmusic community.

Hello!

I need someone to help me to get one of my VST effects ready for release. Please make the ugly go away from this:

I'll need a png of 30-50 frames of a slider animation (bellow each other), either left-to-right or down-to-up, or both, and a background image to fit them in.

The effect is designed to make drumloops chippy, by splitting the input frequencies in high and low and converting them into noise and squares respectively. It then assigns the original amplitude envelope to the output (which can be quantized). I named the effect Pulsedemon (+10 points for those who know what this refers to)
Here's a before/after:

If you're interested, let me know. smile

Haha, you can kinda hear Factor 5's Amiga/C64/ST roots in the composition. *checks* Oh, it's a Hülsbeck tune. Figures.

Hmm, do they offer the license for development  (ie music production for game companies) or for someone to distribute the program itself I wonder.

The GBA license page has some more stuff:

Wow, di.fm is pretty big. That's rather surprising.

Fuck yeah, that was an exciting match. That last minute of the overtime was just glorious. Both Suarez and Muslera are some cool cats. I especially liked how Muslera didn't watch the shots of his team and how Suarez still enjoyed his reward for biting the bullet. Epic.

I had a feeling that Uruguay would get through in penalty shots, Richard "Butterfinger" Kingson just didn't have a chance, poor guy. Man, what pressure on Ghana! I feel really sorry for Gyan.
