i think the conclusion last time this came up is that big bang is a show about nerds,
and community is a show for nerds.

buyfromtaobao
bhiner
there are several services you can use to buy things from taobao. they ALL charge fees, left and right. service fee, packing fee. so, read their FAQ or something before using.
its really quite easy though, not worth it (at all) unless its items you absolutely can't find off taobao.
A pizza made with a recipe developed by some Polish guys.
i feel so strange laughing aloud like that sometimes....
good one.
thanks so much for chiming in to this thread! we love talking to the brains
yeah, i'll be doing them again. GID pigment is a pain, it doesn't want to blend just clump. i wanted to do GID pigment in clear ABS, but it left speckles rather than a nice clear glow. solid ABS with GID should work (does in the buttons), for the cases i'm just concerned with that much surface area its going to be hard to get ones with no clumps near the surface. you can stir and stir.... clumps remain. doesn't affect the buttons as much because less surface area.
they came from me, i'm just sold out atm
yes, please do. add me as interested.
next up will be clear blue. i need to find a source for a thing, then after that i think there will be a surprise edition. then i'll do white and black. you're looking at months, def. not years, weeks isn't feasible
i used to get emails every week or so about when clear blue stuff would be back. now its turned into nearly everyday so it is being pushed up above everything. besides, i'd really like to do something neat than just the stock stuff. a little indulgence here and there...
doppelpumped.
touchOSC is cheaper
such a great album, good news!
these may help: http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/bl idge-cases
(also, double-sided tape will hold the PCB in place inside the case if you're having shifting problems. EMS puts this in every single case now, works wonders. scotch brand makes a real nice thin double-sided tape roll (yellow box last i got some)
since its not been linked to yet, for your ease,

really odd promo item. toys r us makes sense, hilfiger less so, the aussie cgb is a cool thing, this i don't understand. i think someone there wanted a lot of gameboys and worked it out this way with them being swag at a convention, workplace retreat, for upper management's kids during such an event, etc...
if i were at a convention and every single table wanted you to take home swag, just anything with their name on it, these would do the trick back in the day. who wants to go get the obligatory trip-gift for the kids when you're drinking all the time/whatever on a business trip anyways. just take home the gameboy. genius.
'clear neon pink' dmg buttons -- ONE SET LEFT!!!
also, i changed up the items listed on sale.
and..... added a 'clearance' product to unload random things on the cheap
re: price for the LOOMIS unit, not sure. that's what i'm waiting back to hear from him, he needs to set those prices (i've got ~4-5 units to put up in the shop, differing mods to them). the work is top notch too.... the price though, i don't even want to guess and muck up things, so i'll hold off for him to say,
(he may be camping or at a festival, that time of year)
shipping time isn't so bad to australia, at all. the basic method, standard (first class international) usually takes 7-10 days to your part of the world, the shipping methods beyond that just increase in speed and security. the highest/fastest we offer is EMS/Express, which is ~5 days but costs almost $40 (includes insurance and all though). but, aussie post must be pretty good because there are really no problems ever when i ship there, the slow rate should be just fine...
i'll have one in the shop asap once i hear back from LOOMIS on pricing it, its almost exactly what you described (minues pitch mod, which isn't hard to add). keep eyes on the site kitsch-bent.com in the next day or so (whenever he replies back)
