I think the postage would be more than $1500.

Switchers are a must, I got one for my brother as he has 4 consoles he uses regularly. It will save a lot of wear & tear on your cables.

Kiss and bro up. I love you guys.

Make a country track. It can either be western style, like what you might hear in old western games, or more modern with synthesized or sampled guitar / banjo / etc. sounds, but it has to be certifiably country. Bonus points if it's perfect for square dancing.

I'm just surprised far more people aren't swapping or augmenting their sound with other devices to get away from that problem

It doesn't help that the community has a strong bias for music made on Gameboys.

Actually, I'd say that's what MOST people do, and it's a shame in my opinion. It's why there are tons of technically proficient and "good" chipmusic out there with absolutely no personality...sometimes sound design isn't pushed hard enough. I like to see the perfect marriage of both, which is what I've seen from Nullsleep, Bit Shifter, Zen Albatross, exileFaker, glomag, a few more.

Personality comes from sound design?

Yeah, it's harder to imitate a song that has unique synthesis... you'll be struggling to figure out how they got that particular "sound."

It makes me absolutely sick to see that this track has 127 views and only 10 likes. This is one of the sickest LSDJ tracks I've ever heard and yet it goes way under-appreciated. If a popular artist posted the same track, it would be #1 before the week was even over.

I don't know what it is with 8bc these days... people will comment on your song telling you that they like it, but they won't click "I like it!" It's like they know that there's a weekly competition to hit the top of the charts, and they only want to give likes to a handful of songs that they think should be in that chart... usually stuff by Anamanaguchi and so on. It's a bad system.

seems a bit redundant now, but you can see the cart at 6:40 something

Nanoloop 2.3 runs only on propriatary GBA carts. It runs on DS/DS Lite.

Oh, facepalm, I just realized that DS Lites have GBA slots. OK, then it must certainly be Nanoloop 2.3! Thanks for clearing that up smile

That reminds me of this time (right after Ty blew the fucking lid off of the Lo-Bat/CC shitstorm) when we walked into a local indie/hipster record store to buy the CC vinyl (still confused on why he did that) and the store clerk was all like "DUDE! Did you hear they are being accused of stealing music from video games?! I'm going to seriously punch the guy who said this about CC!" Ty just stood there, threw a burned Lo-bat cd-r at the guy and said "Do your fucking homework you twat.". I totally forgot about that story until I saw the name.
/endcoolstorybro

/coolstorybro DELIVERS. Did he end up buying the record?

what time in the video?

i could tell you easily by the sound.. and i can tell you the dude in the video with the DS was Cream In All Mustache who uses NL 2.3

7:12, it's definitely CIAM, if it's NL I'm wondering if it's an emulator or a cart... still not sure what DS model it is.
