If you're a bit of a steady solderer, it should be doable. I used IDE cables to connect a screen to a super gameboy, worked like a charm.

I got some clear buttons that I sprayed with glow in the dark paint on the inside.

You could even add lights because they are still semi-transparent.

Also: I've got a gameboy pocket that I painted with a green to white fade on the inside, and is glow in the dark as well. It is just missing the battery clip ATM..

I did have a complete glow in the dark DMG-1,
But I sold it.

I shall add pics if you'd like.

Just have to find them wink

You'll need a arduinoboy, and a special version of LSDJ (marked arduinoboy in the official download place. Only version 4.1 as far as I know)

And then you can send midi out.

Which is in fact a lot of fun.

oh dear, that's sexy.

Tape echo and some reverb big_smile
here and there some distortion, fun when emulating a 303 on a commodore.

Sometimes I play around with some other effects, I've got one of those Alesis AirFX, which is fun, but not really helpful.

But I really like my tape echo. The tape is quite old, and basic waveforms like square sound completely different when echo'd.

You do need an arduinoboy version, but it's based on 4.1

That's the one smile

I had the luck of being able to lend a transferrer, that still works. So it's something.
But other than that, still no results sad

Would you be willing to sell physical CD's of free albums? If you can record them yourself on cheap CD's, and sell them for a dollar or so, you could make a return for your effort and help promote.

Edit: I mean, if the artist (mostly me who's interested) gives you permission, of course.

It might be easier to just give out bandcamp codes or something in that case.
Just selling cd-r looks a bit silly imho. Or I'd also have to print labels etc, and that's a bit too much. Making albums for another artist etc.

Monodeer sold little envelopes with a bandcamp download code and a sticker a few Eindbaas back, I think that's a better idea.

@Zaxxon: I'll have to think about that, I'll send you a PM in a while.

I'll help you sell your stuff

well, a few weeks in advance to the next eindbaas would be cool. So i can sort all the stuff and maybe make some mp3 sample player so people can listen to your tunes before buying.

I just lost my job.

So that's pretty much what I do now.

So hi.
Bump!

Next Eindbaas is 5th of July. And the offer still stands! If you want your music on the merch table, get in contact with me smile

We had lots of stuff last Eindbaas, and people thought it was awesome. So that's always good.

No but seriously, if you want more exposure for your music, why not try selling it! smile

More details in OP.

I've got this ultra simple amp design I use a lot. I was going to build an amp into a briefcase, but I thought it'd be cooler to add a passive mixer in as well so I can have multiple inputs, so this thread's really interesting. smile

Do share. smile

I thought it should be 1kOhms each... weird. Have you changed R4 and R5 as well?

I just took out the whole Op-amp part. couldn't hear anything.
Now I've got 680Ohms. stil a bit soft, but acceptable i guess.

Well, it's something tongue
I'm now using 1K resistors. Sound is still quite soft, so I might switch to 680Ohms.
To top one still needs to be connected, I want to do a mono / stereo switch on that one.

Nice case choice! Haha, that's pretty cool.

And easy to carry with the rest of the gameboy stuff tongue
