it's actually really easy
Music based on using or emulating the sound chips of old consoles and computers.

You're good on these definitions. I might have to add you to the payroll.
you and dot.ay can pay me in trap / footwork mixes
(seriously y'all need to do that for me, even if it's just like a folder of some tracks)
my descriptions of hipsters: irony as a way of life
so much music omg
but i don't see many people actually starting new things, in fact i think there are less people starting new projects because they are afraid of what people will say.
but also no one seems to be passionate enough to put their own money behind projects anymore, because they're afraid people won't support them. i think kick starter is kind of a gift/curse thing.
yeah
i'm working on one (although i'm half way through like 5 or 6 different releases right now), although not the actual chips usually, but writing across 2 trackers and mixing them in ableton.
this track is written for NES w/VRC6 and Sega Genesis (although i did it with TFM MM, so there's no PSG or ch6 sampling)

no one stays at my place cause it's in the suburbs
i kind of feel like someone should be reporting this, don't really understand how legal it is though.
you guys are missing the real point of this, if you pledge 3,800 dollars YOU GET 2 ARDUINO BOYS, A MIDINES AND A CYNTHCART IN A RACK UNIT
i have probably written it.
there's one i started writing when my dog died in 09 and i couldn't finish it cause it made me cry when i heard it
It's a very lucrative career. I would quit whatever job you have now and immediately start writing chip music. Just think, it's like being a professional musician only you make video game music. People will practically throw money at you.
kkrusty actually played a show where some of our super fans literally threw money at him during his set. i wish i had been booked that night.
if you've seen some sabrepulse/kkrusty/my tracks in a DDR game it was probably those guys that programmed it
a million dollars every day
this is subversive
this is way better than that other thing
