This might be a painfully obvious and silly question but you never know if you don't ask.
While at Goodwill today, I found a small television for my studio desk that would be perfect for my newly purchased NES. The problem is that the TV only has the RF hookup, no RCA jacks. My question is: Does the NES have the ability to be hooked up to a television via the RF adapter AND send audio out of the RCA jack on the side? I'm hoping to use the TV's RF hookup and send the audio to my mixer via the RCA jack.
Totally just bought a new NES in preparation for these carts and transferers. I'm very happy this post was made. This REALLY changes things for people wanting to get into NES music...while it lasts...you never know how long these products will be in stock.
Great, I'm looking forward to it. You can't beat those prices...this is almost too good to be true.

I've been looking at NES flash carts and I've been entertaining the idea of experimenting with Pulsar (admittedly because it's reportedly similar to LSDJ) but I read that Pulsar doesn't have a save function? How does that work? And do these carts have the ability to save files...?
I think I'm missing something here.
EDIT: I've found the right boards. Now to research Pulsar some more.
Pulsar does save your song data by virtue of the battery backed ram. You don't do any thing, the cart just remembers the current state of your data when you turn off your NES.
The Kazzo allows access to this Ram so you can save and transfer the bin image to an emu or another cart.
This helps a lot, thank you. Hopefully some of these are still available after the holidays. I definitely want at least one cart and a transferer.

We need some spoonfeeding. I just want the kazoo and a ready to go pulsar cart. Really don't know which combo to buy.
Care to elaborate? thanks in advance for your time guys.

I believe that's the right page man.

Thanks. I figured it'd be similar to a serial cable but you never know with these things. I'll pass this info along to my co-conspirator. I have a probably overly ambitious mod idea and limited knowledge of electronics...
Out of curiosity, does anyone know how long a link cable can be and still maintain its functionality? I've also read on this forum of people daisy chaining GBs together with modded four-way link cable adapters...Is there something hardware wise within them that helps the units stay in sync when multiple units are chained together?
Reason 5 if I feel like doing laptop oriented things which is a rarity these days.
LSDJ for chip.

That basically sums up the outcome of a lot of projects I've started in the past.

DMG all the way!
Truth, but I've never been really bothered by the CGB. The one that really drives me batty is my GBA SP for some reason.

I have a slew of Gameboy Colors and a couple of them are prosounded and frontlit. I like the screens and often times I need the extra CPU power when using LSDJ.
Plus they take two AA's which is useful since I only have four rechargeable batteries and one charger.

I have two different ideas for doing that, one using hardware and one using software, and will probably try implementing the software version at some point.
Very cool, I look forward to it!
