@Dire Hit

How do you get bassier sounds with volume control? Drop pulse/noise channels in volume so that the wave channel sounds louder by comparison?

Thats exactly how its done.

Well you're certainly on the right track. My advice would be to read/watch as many tutorials as you can, research some .sav files that are floating around the internet, look over instrument patches that people have posted on forums like this...

It's all a process but so far so good.

That mixer makes me want to dabble with noise again.

I think it looks awesome when in standard notation. Artsy-ish.

Kind of self explanatory here. Does any one have one by chance?

I have a Green PiL Shell w/ battery cover. It has RCAs already mounted and ready for soldering.

I'd love to see a picture if you have one. It's certainly relevant to my interests. You can PM me if you prefer.

I picked up this SGB recently with the intention of modding it and buying an SNES for home studio use but after reading more into their specs, I realized that it just wasn't for me. I'm not really looking to sell it, I'd like to get something useful in it's place. If your like me and have some spare stuff lying around, perhaps we can trade.

Items of immediate interest:

Spare Atomic Purple CGB shells
Spare PiL shells
Unmodded DMGs and CGBs

US trades only please.

I figured I'd introduce myself. My name is Chris and I have been DJing and producing electronic music under the name Limitbreak since 2002. I started using LSDJ in 2007 and have been privately using it off and on since then. I recently quit recording and performing as a DJ/producer to pursue chiptune as my main musical outlet. I'm glad I spent a few years experimenting and learning before putting out music. I feel like it did my musical thought process a world of good and I'm thankful I didn't flood the scene with too much bad music while I was still learning.

I'm working on a release. My goal is to have it done in 6 months.

EDIT: Punctuation

All great stuff here!
Thank you for the links and such. I am a huge dummy when it comes to this side of things, and it's nice to have something to go off of.
How approachable is the arduino for a novice?

@Limitbreak - Where are you in AZ? I just played a show in PHX last weekend with MegaRan, D&D Sluggers, Prof Shyguy, Amanda Lepre, and BFAD (Phx Local). Would love to meet some more az chip heads.

I'm down south. About an hour from Tucson. I'm slowly starting to find out there's more of us in AZ than I thought. I thought it was just Yes_Pizza and I. I'm glad that's not the case.

We'll have to keep in touch and organize more shows.

This is pretty damn cool!

nice sticker!

I totally dig that sticker. Are there more? Or is it part of a series perhaps...?

I don't have any input on constructing these 10spd, but its cool to see another AZ person here.

badass mixer!

Thank you! I was considering buying another little Behringer Xenyx like I had many years ago but I stumbled upon this at a local pawn shop for $40. I'm not very familiar with the Ross brand but I'm very happy with it.

This design looks great though. I hope to see more in the future.
