Humblebragging on cm.o? What is the world coming to?
Congratulations on a very good presentation, Mr.Cannon, this DOES deserve an award of some kind!

Yeah that was a bit much huh? Sorry. It was indeed a very good presentation, I just finished watching it.

EDIT: Punctuation.

I started watching this but had to shut it off after two minutes. My girlfriend wanted to watch it with me when she was done making cupcakes. Life doesn't suck and from the two minutes I saw, neither will this presentation.

I'd totally buy these two designs.

If you look past the bickering, the community effort in this post is amazing to read.

EDIT: Punctuation.

I'd actually really like to use one of your pictures for a an album cover or artwork for a promotional single. These look great.

This has the potential to be bigger than chipos.

These look great.

I dunno how Dantes does his, but we got a small collection already.
Still have ideas for more though.

Are these available for DL? That "Hey Listen" kit seems fun.

Maybe try slice the nsf render into bars and snap them to grid? That way any tempo drift isnt culmative.

I dont like timestretching audio cause there is always some artifacts. Try the grid thing, its also pretty useful for human drummers who cant play to a click. You can even use the rendered nes audio to make a tempo map, and then your effects and midi will be as loosey goosey as the nes track!

Time stretching is easy in Reaper, too

I never got that far with the program. I tried but I really didn't liked it that much. I'm sure it's great but I preferred non VSTI DAWs like Reason after using FL for a few years. Now I kind of dislike DAWs for writing songs in general and just use them to record/effect tracks I write on hardware...So I'm probably a really bad source of advice on the subject,

Sticker Swag.
The other Main GameBoy will be the Blooperboy 2.0, tomorrow at CHIP HITS THE FAN

No disrespect intended but that decal/sticker on the screen would drive me batshit crazy while writing songs...performing live it would be easier but still...

It looks really nice but ugh...I'm conflicted.

But honestly, in this circumstance, timestretching will be your best solution I think. Acid Pro is a dated example but you can do the same thing in Ableton if you're more familiar with that program. In this day in age its more common. Youtube "Ableton Timestretch" and you'll find many useful tutorials on how to do exactly what you're aiming to accomplish.

I feel like my style is the embodiment of what this comp aimed to ridicule. My style is uptempo "unce". With that being said, I wish it came to fruition.

How exciting! They look like a blast to play with and pretty easy to use.

You could always timestretch the sample to whatever tempo you want. I've been using Acid Pro for that for like 13 years.
